L.A. based duo KLOWN, Nicholas Bottino and Joseph Berman are back on Impossible Records with their single titled ‘Sakasu’. This time, they’ve teamed up with Texan bass music designer, SORA who has been putting out head banging tunes for several years now.  
‘Sakasu’ was recently featured in the Excision set at Lost Lands Music Festival. In addition to this, it has been an extremely momentus month for KLOWN. Zeds Dead featured their track “Handsome Hamburglar”, off of the Beef Eater EP (Impossible Records) on the Deadbeats Radio podcast Episode #114. ‘Sakasu’.is out October 29th, grab it for you sets now!

In case you didn't notice yet, there are no basses or drums provided
in the stems.  This is because we want you to show us your synthesis
skills and your ability to make a proper track without having
everything handed to you. 

In order to get noticed we recommend you spend the majority of your
time inside the synthesizer of your choice to produce all of the
sounds in the remix to the best of your ability.  We'd rather you send
in something a month after the contest is over than send something you
aren't 100% confident in.  Feel free to take this remix to another
genre, or combine genres.  We are open to hearing anything from
literally any genre. Drum and Bass to Electro House, Dubstep,
Drumstep, chilled out music or any tempo you want.  You have over a month to complete this remix, so experiment and have
fun with it.

Do NOT make your submission down-loadable or listenable to the general
public.  (This is for promotional purposes if you win) Please submit
privately via Soundcloud to the Excision Soundcloud account.

The winning remix will be released on Rottun Recordings, and we'll
probably ask you to do an EP for us as well.  Do not be discouraged if
your best friend has just completed the best remix known to man, we
may release two remixes or we may sign an artist for a future EP based
on their submission regardless of them being the winner or not!

Rith Banney likes the idea of merging “Arts and Senses” in order to make his artistic proposals complete, intelligible and therefore immersive.
Artistic Director since 2002 for festivals, parisian venues and producers (L’aérosol, Festival des Giboulées, Batofar, Glaz’Art, L’Entrepôt, Grand Bain Production), Rith Banney has programmed thousands of artists : Bonobo, Kavinsky, The Animals, Frank Black (Pixies), Buzzcocks, Wax Tailor, Raekwon, M.O.P., Tycho, Nina Kravitz, Maya Jane Coles, Worakls, C2C…
Musician and Filmmaker, he proposes visceral and obsessive electronic music (bass, mid tempo, techno) and creates dark, intoxicating and exciting visual content (black & white, monochrome) around themes that he loves: nightlife, the deadly sins, and the magic number 7.
For music or image, Rith Banney has collaborated with more than 60 artists: Pierre Henry, Roya Arab & Rosko John (Archive), Wodd, Black Sifichi...
After many international events (Gartenstudio Gallery - Berlin, Center’s Art - Boston, Yes Club - Prague, La Gaïté Lyrique - Paris), many photographic books, videos clips and singles releases, Rith Banney co-founded with Matterflow his own label Material Boys in 2016 to propose new projects.
Between 2018 and 2024, Rith Banney has multiplied releases on international labels : Circus Records (UK), Play Records (CA), Natura Viva (IT), Grimey Records (US), Clepsydra (IT), Lotus Mathematics (US), Boxon Records (FR) and Limbo Records (IT).
He recently remixed « Shallow water » of Robot Koch and Fiora with their Dreaming Of Ghosts project  and « Salt Point » of Julia Kent.
He has been 342 days in the TOP 100, 1 time #1, 5 times in the TOP 10 releases and 8 times in the TOP 100 on Beatport.
