Belu Casas, born as María Belén Casas in Buenos Aires, Argentina, is a music producer and electronic music DJ whose love for music began at an early age. Raised in a family where music was always present, surrounded by relatives who played instruments, sang, and shared a rich musical tradition, Belu grew up surrounded by notes and melodies. Her formal music training began when she was a child, and over the years, she refined her skills, eventually becoming a teacher of various musical instruments.

At the age of 27, Belu was drawn to the world of electronic music, which marked a significant turning point in her career. She began to explore this genre more deeply and immerse herself in the electronic culture by attending events and acquiring her own equipment to mix. During the pandemic, she found space to develop her craft, while also experimenting with new sounds. Today, she continues to refine her technique, dedicating time to studying synthesizers and other tools that allow her to expand her knowledge and explore different subgenres of electronic music.

At 35 years old, Belu has had the opportunity to travel through Italy, an experience that inspired her to continue expanding her career. She currently resides Australia, where she enjoys the landscape and the tranquility the place offers, while continuing to share her music and talent at various locations in the region. Her passion for electronic music, along with her constant search for new sounds, has solidified her as an emerging artist in the international electronic music scene.

With the Borderline EP, we unveil the final act of our 24th Chapter.

Selected from Masaya’s recently released ‘Picking Up The Pieces’ LP, one of the most refined tracks now has its moment in the spotlight, accompanied by reworks from three greats of the house and techno scene.

Initially released on vinyl only last year, Borderline’s signature tension, atmosphere and ethereal vocal lines are reprised first by the internationally renowned Patrice Baumel (Kompakt, Crosstown Rebels, Afterlife).  Typically, this Edition is a classy, peak time affair.  A chunky groove sets things up before the inexorable climax, setting dancefloors ablaze in the process.

Diynamic artist Johannes Brecht is next up. Fresh from his remix of Moby's Natural Blues and the chart-topping Voix Grave with Christian Prommer, the multi-instrumentalist producer delivers a standout Edition which is melodic, powerful and hymn-like.  This piece presents him at his sophisticated and direct best. 

Last onto the stage is Irish-born Berlin émigré Neil Flynn (Lossless, Needwant). His Reduction Edition is a masterclass in minimalism, keeping the listener gripped as vocals evolve into synth lines and back into vocals again, all against a pared down techno backdrop. 

The Borderline EP presents a constellation of stars in one of Chapter 24's most significant outings yet.

Support from the likes of Solomun, Sasha, Mano Le Tough, Noir, Oliver Huntemann, Nick Warren, Dave Seaman, Oliver Schories, Super Flu, Monkey Safari, Eelke Kleijn, Animal Trainer, Doctor Dru, Frankey & Sandrino and many more.
