音樂這行做久了，天真會變得世故。唱片行不賣唱片，樂團發片則是為了巡演。寫補助案的時間比錄音長，還必須花時間搞懂一些老師口中的版權代理。走上坡路總是期待自己勿忘初衷，但到頂的風景是不是自己要的呢。

幾年前李翰對我說他開始玩些合成器時，沒記錯的話正是他一度攻頂「卻不太清楚自己是否爬對山頭」的轉折，沒過多久便知悉他已與台北地下 beatmaker 們打成一片。

由 Sonia Calico 邀集 beatmakers 成立的「Beatmakers Taipei」社團，幾年前在 chill 一詞尚未泛濫成災時便有不少 Future R&B / Vaporwave / UK Funky 作品在此現身，不管是來自臥房筆電、二手取樣機，或一台早已調不回原波段的合成器，在這裡你總是有新鮮的可以聽。幾年有成，李翰 Haniboi、錐頭 Conehead、秋波雙人組 Jimmy 與 QQ、雷頓狗、dropp，六個社團份子以 Chill Bros 為名，現在搞了一張要上架的實體專輯。

遵循其沒有資源的宅錄古法，如手機錄製 deca joins vo./gt. 鄭敬儒的 vocal，以及線上送交 mastering，以不到兩萬元的低成本製作完成，卻也有著 LEO37、Kool Klone 獻聲加持。再細看誠意滿滿 48 頁的漫畫（完全搭配曲目），我總覺得【Chill Bros as Happy Crotch】比起許多如夾娃娃機般腦殘的 cost down project，他當中更有著討伐體制的味道：「誰說專輯一定要那樣做？」
盡信書不如無書，聽大咖的有時候不如低頭問小頭，誠如一句「胯下是忠實的兄弟，也是親密的姐妹」，這是馬雲不會告訴你的真心話。

假設以上純屬虛構，但卻讓你深感雷同的話，該是服一帖【Chill Bros as Happy Crotch】的時候了呢。

CIRRRCLE releases a single with LA based singers, FLANNEL ALBERT and LATE LEE. It is their first ever collaboration song with other artists besides remixes. The collab artist FLANNEL ALBERT is best known for his track, "Asian Glow w/ Filthy The Kid feat. Jesediah" and has over 330K plays on Spotify. LATE LEE's latest track, "Ey ft FLANNEL ALBERT" gained over 250K views on YouTube. CIRRRCLE and they have met in LA during their first tour in LA. Many celebrities including Awkwafina, Dumbfounded, Sweater Beats and Shawn Wasabi showed up to their show at Bootleg theater in May. CIRRRCLE's next scheduled performance will be on 8/12 at WWWX.

Tokyo via LA based Hiphop crew.
A sleek, soulful new voice, Amiide is the Japanese native lead singer of CIRRRCLE. Alongside Amiide is A.G.O, the groups track maker. His live instruments and futuristic samples bring new waves to hiphop/R&B. Jyodan, the rapper of the group, has a unique voice and original cadence. Not only is CIRRRCLE musically unique, but also they are diverse. The group includes a sexual minority, African American lived in Japan for over 10 years, and a salaryman (Japanese typical business man).
And was recently performed live at Japan Rising (88 Rising x Red Bull Music Festival)

東京／ロサンゼルスを拠点に活動する国際派ヒップホップクルー。

2017年に活動を開始。神戸出身、ロサンゼルスで学生生活を過ごし、メロウなウィスパーボイスを持つシンガー/ラッパーのAmiide(アミイデ)と、アメリカ出身、東京での活動を経て現在はロサンゼルスで活動するラッパーのJyodan(ジョーダン)、新潟出身、現代のヒップホップ・ビートシーンの音を巧みに操るビートメイカーのA.G.O(アゴー)の3人からなる。自ら「ハッピーヒップホップ」と題する彼らのサウンドは、人種や生い立ちの異なるメンバーそれぞれの人生から得た等身大の思いや悩みを込めたリリック、ヒップホップの枠にとらわれない、様々なジャンルの要素を取り入れたトラックで独自の立ち位置を築きつつある。



わずか2年足らずという活動期間にもかかわらず、昨年リリースしたEP「Fast Car」の表題曲がSpotifyグローバル版の巨大プレイリスト「New Music Friday」に掲載されるという快挙を成し遂げた。

昨年末からi-D Japan主催のパーティを皮切りに、国内で複数のライブに出演、2019年3月30日には初大阪ライブで大型イベントと言われる「ROOM 4th Anniversary」と4月10日には、「RED BULL」が主催する『RED BULL MUSIC FESTIVAL』と88risingがコラボレートしたイベント「Japan Rising」、さらに5月1日には米ロサンゼルスでの豪華アーティストコラボライブにはThe Flavr Blue, Rekstizzy, 他超大物スペシャルゲストとの出演が決定しており、その勢いはとどまるところを知らない。
