Pink Opaque is the producer duo of Monotrope and Blood Tapes, hailing from Portland, Oregon, known for weaving moody, immersive soundscapes with an emotional undercurrent and rhythmic pulse. Fusing elements of UK Garage, IDM, ambient, and glitch, Pink Opaque creates music that lives between movement and memory — textural, contemplative, and unmistakably personal.

"This mix is an homage to the dance culture of  Portland through the lens of Pink Opaque. Throughout the years so many promoters, and local djs and producers, have brought influential artists that blur genre. So many of these artists have blessed us with performances that helped create the vibe and feeling that is Portland dance culture. We chose to blend our original tracks and edits, alongside both icons from around the word, and our constantly progressing scene of local creators. Spanning UK garage, Jersey Club, IDM, and everywhere in between, we hope you feel our souls in this mix."

It's been one whole year since the launch of Heisty & Alt-1's joint alias Twombmates at Cascade Equinox '24. This year they had the opportunity to run it back with another Sublimate Showcase to close out the festival in the Cosmic Drip stage on Sunday night. 

"If you were there, thank you all for getting down with us! This mix is completely live and has a couple rough moments, but we feel it is important to show the human side of djing. A perfect mix is great, but we take pride in authenticity and showcasing how we can adjust and course correct in real time. The mix is packed full of fresh releases, throwbacks, free downloads and exclusive IDs from some of our favorite artists across the globe! We tried to really tell a story with this one.
