I'm reminded of that time John Oliver's critiques of third-party candidates during the 2016 election. At one point during the segment, he goes after Jill Stein and nitpicks one thing she said about the president being able to forgive student debt, then went on to conclude that her student debt proposal was just like Trump's wall, he also calls her a "neophyte"? Very strange.

At 3:08, Nima tells us that a very early prototype was the Bureau of Accuracy and Fair Play. As soon as I heard that, I thought of the similarity of that name and FAIR.org where both Nima and Adam are sometimes contributors, and from where they have garnered a few guests for previous episodes.  While it can be argued that FAIR does something different than the fact checking orgs discussed in the episode, I was surprised that there was no mention of FAIR in this episode, if only to say that it is a different sort of thing to be discussed later, or something.
