When the dust settles - the phrase got stuck in my head. Someone sent this as a reply as to when they'd get back in touch. And you know when that actually means "stop bothering me"? So, yeah. That is the core of this, but then it got wrapped up in images of our planet burning down and they say we'll fix it when the dust settles and it's never going to happen. So I guess today I'm a nihilist. Also, there's something funky with this cpouter I've recoring on and I don't have as much functionality as I used to so levels and panning are strange.

In this month's episode of Need More Songs I have been thinking about mini albums that can also double as podcasts. This piece started out as the sweeping theme that could be played at the beginning of the episode where we are all sent to our rooms to "think about what we've done". Then, just for grins, I tried laying in Gov. Inslee's most recent Coronavirus address and it kinda worked out.

In this month's episode of Need More Songs, I've chosen only a piece of one of Flora Parvulescu's poems.  The poem is entitled "Casuta Mea" (my little house) and talks about all the things she loves in her home.  It's dated December 1953. Shortly after she was released from political prison in Romania.  

I mixed her sentiment about home with the current state of affairs in which our homes could also be considered (by some people) our prisons under lockdown.
