The golden era of rap was the era wherein Diddy made remixing a track hot and trendy. It was also the era when rappers were indirectly telling kids that being a gangsta; player; or drug-dealer was cool. Rap is one of the most influential genres, and with great power comes great responsibility.

This is a freestyle where I'm reflecting on things I've seen and experienced and seen in my environment, things that have contributed to my personality, character, and mindset. When I think about how much stress, temptation, and corruption exist in low-income communities; I ask myself, "How could these young boys not shoot?" But there's hope in God; We just gotta learn how to connect with Him.
