finally this song hurts to cover

i wanted to cover this for forever in UTAU but it was really painful to do the MIDI for it (perhaps it's just me being a noob at MIDIng variable BPM) ;-; But then when SynthV was released (and I saw my friend was using it) I decided to try it out! However, it was much easier to do the cover in SynthV for some reason xDD It's a bit sucky though x(

Wish there was a instrumental version of this song, but since there's none I just made a potato instrumental for it x_x (NyxTheShield) if you provided the instrumental version of Valiant Heart I will thank you for it! :3)

aaaAAND speaking of this song Season 1 of Underverse recently concluded and the entirety of the whole Undertale fanseries is really awesome. 0.4 (the season finale) f*cked me up badly, like it made me laugh and cry at the same time :'D (not gonna spoil though) But overall, it was a great episode! (do watch Underverse if you're a fan of Sans and AUs, it's great)

Aw Yeah! Underfresh was definitely one of the most popular requests across my last few vids so I thought I'd work on this AU first! Interesting fact about this track, I actually started something back in July, got about 50% done with it before I realized it wasn't the direction I wanted it to be in, so I saved that project for later (or may rework it into something else entirely) and started a new project and ended up with this. The drops were overhauled completely twice (as in, I was indecisive af and reworked them) In total this was a 27 hour track with a very slow decent into insanity because I couldn't figure out the direction of the drops, as I had several ideas I wanted to do but didn't know which to settle on. Good news is, now I have plenty of ideas for when I decide to revisit original music for underfresh (`•ω•´๑)

And thank you for the many suggestions on Malevolence! I had a ton of requests for AU's I recognized, but also a few that I was unfamiliar with or didn't know about at all. I've gone through and taken a closer look at many your suggestions and have my own list I've been putting together. I'm particularly interested in underrated AU's as well, so feel free to suggest ones that may not be as well known yet! I think there's some really good stories out there that have yet to be discovered & I would love to write music for (ง •̀ω•́)ง✧

[Underfresh Original] SharaX - Pandemic

This took only 6 hours to finish, but took 4 years for me to actually finish it and here's why ⋆ටᆼට⋆

I spend so much time stressing on my work to sound good that it feels more like a chore these days, and I find that when I spend 20-30 hours on a track, it leaves me exhausted and not wanting to write anything in FL for like 3 weeks, which is well, why I barely upload these days. The more time I spend on a track, the more flaws I see that have to be fixed and that's really the reason why I'm taking so long to finish songs now.

I held off doing Rewind for so long because I convinced myself that I needed to rewrite it from the ground up to sound good, but I chose to simply finish the project using all my original instruments from the teaser I posted 4 years ago instead. The reason being, it's unbelievable how much of a hardass I am about my music, I spend so much time complaining to Kamex in dm's about how self conscious I am about the things I write over the stupidest shit like "Do you think they'll like it? Do you think it's good enough to put on the channel?" Like it doesn't matter that I love the track, if I think it's not perfect then ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ and "lemme delete the chorus that I just spent 3 hours on because I'm certain it's garbo-"

So my work now will be a mix of my current music style and my style from 2015-2016, since I want to be able to write music for fun again and not worry about it so much. Some days I'll feel like writing something challenging like Malevolence. Other days I'll write about a sweet potato idk, but it'll be stress-free. Sure every track I write may not be as impressive as Malevolence or Red Light & have their cool tricks, but it will give me a chance to write more music instead of feeling turned off to it entirely. I also want to treat my music like I can remix things more often rather than going "Oh well I just did Spear of Justice so I have to wait a year-" because that's stupid and if I wanna remix it two weeks in a row with one being my current style and one being my style from 2016 then why not, that just means more hot fish lady for everybody (・∀・)

Undertale AU - Underverse: Sweet Sweet Swagger [VERSION 3] Like/Comment/Repost

An attempt to make sort of weird off-kilter post-90s sampler-heavy music like the kind used in ENA - Extinction Party, just to see if I could do it.

I was trying to make something which sounded like Graham Kartna or Oliver Buckland but my extremely extremely strong upbringing in Magic Schoolbus Games probably coloured the sound a lot. There's probably some American McGee's Alice in there, and a tiny bit of the NiGHTs series.

Also if you really want authenticity: here it is, as a μ-law–encoded 8-bit mono wave file, just like MS Kids® would've wanted it.
