Tumbling unerringly towards the halls, as if moved by another, the dreamer does not know he is asleep.

Otto Lilienthal is a symbol. His striving for the conquest of the third dimension is exemplary of our innate human desire to transcend our seemingly two-dimensional lives, with often just a vague idea where this might lead.

For Lilienthal it led him to his death, where he met Ouroboros, the serpent biting its own tail, and realized who he is.

For us it can be a hint - guiding us inward into the great halls of sacrifice, where we too will learn to recognize the taste of our very self.

The husk strenuously takes flight, the core remains everywhere, knowing.

You are the love with which I love you.
