'Once Upon A Time In The Projects' there was an up and coming rapper hailing from the West Side of Los Angeles. Spants was born and raised in Culver City, Ca. Spants found his calling for rap during his high school years. At the mere age of sixteen, Spants began rapping with another Culver City local, Jon Boy. Both were on a journey for fame and girls that came with it. Spants began doing neighborhood raps at local house parties all through out high school. "I used to rap for 'My hood'", recalls Spants. A couple of years went by, being on the lookout for when the 'One Time Swoops' Spants hooked up with Javie Lopez. It was then that the concept for the group City Boys was born.
