この曲のタイトルはサンテグジュベリにちなんでつけました。
サンテグジュペリは航空郵便の仕事をしていた時に砂漠のカップジュビー飛行場で飛行場長を１年半務めたそうです。
その時の体験から名作「星の王子さま」が生まれました。
わたしはサンテグジュペリの著書「人間の土地」を読みその時彼は砂漠での満天の星空をどういう気持ちで見上げていたのかを想像して曲を作りました。
ただ美しい星をファンタジックに表現したのではなく彼の孤独感や大空への思い、亡くした仲間への思いなどを表現していて少し切ない曲です。

The title is named after Saint-Exupéry.
Saint-Exupéry was working as an airfield director at the Cup Jubie Airfield in the desert when he was working on airmail.
The masterpiece "Star Prince" was born from the experience at that time.
I read the book “Wind, Sand and Stars” by Saint-Exupéry, and at that time he made a song imagining how he looked up at the starry sky in the desert.
Instead of expressing a beautiful star in a fantasy style, it expresses his feelings of loneliness, a feeling of the sky, and a feeling of companions who have died, and it is finished in a slightly painful song.
