Citybox - electronic dance music project consisting of two producers (Eugene and Alex aka "Mechanical Pressure"), who have about 15 years of music production and searching for their own recognizable sound. At the moment, the guys are confidently moving in the direction of breakbeat/breaks music and are not going to stop and are only gaining momentum in this matter. Their tracks often made it into the top 100 beatport releases and were released on various top breaks labels such as Elektroshok and Distortion Records. Their music was supported by famous artists such as The Crystal Method, Aggresivnes, Destroyers, Under This, Sunsha, Orebeat and many others. The Citybox project is still being improved and in the future you will find many unexpected musical experiments and cool releases in digital and vinyl records.

[GiB007] FLUCC - Sawblade Screams And A Butterfly’s Dream

With his debut album “Sawblade Screams And A Butterfly’s Dream” FLUCC delivers a 15 track LP of introspective alternative hard dance music. The release is a genre defying journey through the tense, yet beautiful landscape of heart soothing synths and ear piercing drums. FLUCC brings together influences from Hardcore, Drum and Bass/Jungle, Techno, Trance and Ambient Music for a manifesto of his sound that aims to resonate beyond the dance floor. 

The LP is an appeal to the experimental and unconventional side of hardcore techno. The tracks invite an open minded and empowering ethos and to challenge the often rigid and hypermasculine norms of the mainstream. They are for all the gabber fairies and dance floor goblins, from my heart to yours, to listen, to dance and to feel.

“Mariana” is an ambiguous title, referring to love, the depth of the ocean and marihuana. I feel this represents the wide sonic range of this track well.
