The Porch - Seaux Chill

Porch party season kicked off the first Sunday in May, and I knew I wanted to write a song celebrating the power of connection. Even our small gestures, like literally just sitting on a front porch with a cup of tea and a neighbor, go a long way in healing what ails us. It is easier than ever to allow ourselves to become more isolated than ever would have been imaginable in the past. It can feel awkward to reach out, or awkward to search for what we have in common. But we all need each other and, with a lot of grace and a good sense of humor, porching is one way to address that need. Let’s get to know each other!
