THE ACTUAL ORIGINAL TRACK!

Big thanks to Brian Moffatt who was kind enough to reach out and share the original track directly from Sam. I waited a while before uploading just to let anyone else have a whack at it but seeming how most people were coming here looking for it, thought I'd just post the fucking thing.

The original track from the show pilot is called "Elektro", and I'm still not sure who made it other than the rumors that Space Laces did but yeah, I think the original musician backed off when the AS controversy popped up, which is a shame because obviously it's a great piece of music.

Elektro (Sapien 2016 MDE World Peace Original THE REAL DEAL)- Loop Remix

"I'll take you down the only road I've ever been down."

The first minute of Bittersweet Symphony is one of the greatest pieces of "rock" ever, so this started as a loop of that but evolved into an entire extended loop of multiple parts of the song with the usual slowed echospace stuff.  Posting because today was one of the most special days of my life, with an equal helping of very sad news, hence the song. Enjoy lads.

S.S. Garrix Gets Saxed & SUNKKKKKK

This is an obscure "lost" track I found on my iPod touch from late 2010 which I can find pretty much zero information on. All the metadata lists is the title (as listed) and that this came from the Grinnell College Freesound Library at some point, which makes sense since I went to Grinnell several times years ago to visit friends. I have no recollection of downloading it from there though, nor even really hearing this song? So it's one of those rare joys I truly had when listening to my defunct old iPod in 2022 and hearing something new all over again for the first time. 

Google nor YouTube doesn't bring up literally anything for any artist or student that was related to this song or an album, only a random result for a "soundscape" exhibit in a PDF that Dave was a part of. I'll also assume it's titled "Unfinished" because it truly was an unfinished piece that Dave uploaded to the college server for Creative Commons altruism. Did he ever finish it? I don't know, sounds pretty nice to me anyways. 

Anyways, uploading it here because I love lost media like this, as well as the fact that it is very very reminiscent of Alias & Ehren's work from their 2005 album Lillian (that in itself is another lost media upload I could do later). I didn't upload an image of Grinnell or my photos from there, rather, the song is much more fitting to the my time listening to Alias & Ehren while doing light painting photography in my bedroom basement back in school a long time ago - a very strange textural time that is a fleeting surge of overwhelming nostalgia I still can't come to terms with sometimes when I hear their work, or in this case Dave's little track. 

Life is strange and very beautiful.

Was going through archiving my ancient 2006> YouTube videos and came across this song in one of the credits I used, haven't heard it in over 16 years and completely forgot about Gir2007. I think he/she is gone from the Internet entirely but this memory lives on. Very succinct little track that really encapsulates the simple YouTube lifestyle of the golden days of 2005-2008 YouTube.

Only place I could actually find it was 1) on YouTube but uploader uploaded it as a Kids video so adding to playlists is disabled lol and 2) some weird Russian site where I got it from. One of my faves of the massive electronic hit from Kirsty Hawkshaw in the late 90's. Enjoy!
