This summer was a crazy one for sure- we guested, we hosted, we danced, we partied- starting with our Easter party with the ever excellent Ray Mang, through to some great spots in Brighton, our own incredible tent at Farm Festival, a jam packed pop-up party for Southsea Fest and ending with the awesome closing party of the Champagne Bar (surely one of THE success stories of the year for the city), we had a riotous time. We played alongside some wicked guests and were joined by a cast of literally thousands of you! Now we've had a bit of time to reflect, we've each crafted an individual mix of some of our biggest tunes of the season. We'll be releasing them over the coming weeks, then at the end we'll be bringing you news of our infamous Boxing Day shindig...... watch this space.

This is the recording of my return trip to Bournemouth to guest on COR compadre Steve Laming's weekly radio show on http://Afro-Disiac.co.uk . Loved it last time I was there, and this time was no different. Loved it! Defo need to work on my radio DJing skills though. Should prob try a little harder to remember the names of my records too! All that aside though it was big fun and we got through a shed load of cracking tunes. Grab an earful if you fancy it.

Steve Laming's Groovin' show with guest Mark Persaud - June 24th

Welcome to the Civilisation of the Rough; the intimate underground Balearic beano for those in the know. Since 2007, we’ve thrown one-off events in basements and lofts, castles and fields, all with a booming Funktion One sound system and a packed crowd of clued up party people. 
Soundtracked by our excellent residents: Leon Windsor, Mark Persaud, Mick Hood, Rosko Siffredi and Steve Laming, every sell out party delivers a truly eclectic, upfront mixture of quality house, Balearic and disco to an always rammed dancefloor. 
We’ve brought in some of our favourite DJ legends as guests over the years: Bill Brewster, Greg Wilson, Graeme Park and Terry Farley have all made the trip, and Alfredo flew in from Ibiza just for one very special night. 
Our gigs have spread from our Southsea HQ along the coast to Brighton and beyond, and our infamous weekend stint at Farm Festival is now in its third year. We’re gonna need a bigger tent. 
Look out for a NEW LABEL from us in 2014, featuring tracks and mixes from some of our great residents and guests.
