On January 28, 1986, 73 seconds after the launch of mission STS-51-L, the space shuttle exploded at an altitude of approximately 15 kilometers. All seven astronauts perished. Their names were Francis Richard Scobee, Michael Smith, Judith Resnik, Ellison Onizuka, Ronald McNair, Gregory Jarvis, and Christa McAuliffe. This song is a tribute to these astronauts whose dream was to travel into space.
