As the world moves to the new normal we are honored to breathe in new life into a beloved tune with the hands of a master delivering the Butch Remix.

The diversity of Butch’s productions is what sets the artist apart. SOULMEEX sixth label release is finally here, delivering a luminous burst of dancefloor energy with The Velvet Dust EP by Faroese-Copenhagen artist Brynjolfur. Infused with Balearic dream house aesthetics, it unfolds as a three-track euphoric journey. Deeply cinematic yet built for the club.

The EP features Skyline Groove, Solstice Serenade, and Golden Circle, each offering a different facet of Brynjolfur distinctive sound. To complete the package, Portuguese-Italian producer Vhyce delivers a striking remix of Skyline Groove, adding his own personal touch.

The visual identity of the release is completed with artwork by Icelandic photographer Valtýr Daregard, adding an atmospheric layer to the record.

We’re excited to announce a very special collaboration this month on Saved; that of label boss Nic Fanciulli and hotly tipped newcomer, Black Circle. Both riding off the back of their recent success with their latest Saved releases; Nic Fanciulli’s ‘Transition’ with Andrea Oliva and Black Circle’s no.1 smash; ‘Journey’. With releases between them on respected labels; RCA, Anjunadeep, Crosstown Rebels, Rekids, Circus and Play It Say It, alongside cruical support from Green Velvet, Solardo, Fisher, Pete Tong, Annie Mac and CamelPhat. Kicking things off, lead track ‘Leap Of Faith’ is the perfect blend of rattling percussion and melodic elements which builds in tension before unveiling a heart-felt piano melody, intriguing synths and a grooving low-end to create nothing short of an Afro House masterpiece. ‘The Breakfast Club’ follows suit, taking a slightly rawer approach, jam-packed with more shuffling percussion, organic drums, inventive rhythms, intense risers and an intoxicating bass hook to take you straight to the heart of the dancefloor.
