This is my first attempt at writing a love song with lyrics. Featuring male and female vocals created with Dreamtonics Synthesizer V Studio Pro. The lyrics tell the story of a passionate but bittersweet on-line love affair between an American and a beautiful foreigner, a fantasy relationship that can never become reality. Instrumentation includes Turkish Duduk lead, Oud and Bouzouki Ensemble Tremolos. 
   NOTE: A more recent version here ("Leo's Fantasy") seperates the male and female parts to better represent the story, and includes some modified lyrics.

This is a spacey pop tune for synths, guitars and orchestra. The feel is a moderately quick 3/4 which sometimes feels like a lazy 6/8 rhythm. Positive and powerful energy with just a hint of dissonant aggression near the end.

This tune starts with an ominous feel as a music box is wound up and played. Then the band kicks in with guitars and brass lending a flavor of maybe a 1940's - 1950's film noir detective story soundtrack. Maybe the music box holds the key to solving the imaginary crime scenario...

With so much war and turmoil in today's world, this piece imagines a fictional futuristic scenario where an army of young boys sing an inspiring anthem as they prepare to march into the hellish nightmare of war. The young voices are created with Virharmonic's Czech Boys Choir VST with semi-random words and phrases sequenced together. By the end of the piece, we hear the older boys' voices entering, as the horrific experience turns the children into men. The cello parts are Virharmonic's Bohemian Cello VST. Much of the Orchestral rhythmic drive comes from Sonuscore's The Orchestra Complete.

Starting with a quiet prayer-like tune, we think about how much better our world can be. As we endure the terrible things happening in the world today, we pray to a higher power that our world be healed in every way. The main theme is first heard on Virharmonic's Bohemian Cello and supported by flutes and horns along the way. The choir is performed by the EastWest Quantum Leap Symphonic Choirs VST using the Word Builder patches. The actual "words" sung by the choir are a semi-random sequence of English and Latin syllables and phrases from the factory presets.

An imaginary "argument" between two synths. The battling synths are alternately calmed by the orchestral theme sections, but the synth bickering continues through the end. Sonuscore's The Orchestra Complete provides much of the orchestral pulse and driving rhythms for the piece.

This piece was inspired by the passing of my mother. Struggling with the grief and loss, I envisioned the glorious celebration and joy she must have experienced as she walked into heaven, greeted by friends, angels and loved ones. The choir is EastWest Quantum Leap Symphonic Choirs VST programmed with semi-random English and Latin syllables and phrases chained together for some semblance of abstract lyrics.

This energetic tune was inspired by some of the animated factory patches in UVI's Falcon VST Synth, which provides the percolating chords and arpeggios. The mariachi style trumpets and the "galloping" percussion give a "spaghetti western" flavor, while the synths and orchestral parts hint at a "space adventure" soundtrack.

This is a remix of the original "Leo's Theme" track, also on this site. Now renamed "Leo's Fantasy", it features alternating male & female vocal parts, extended transition sections, added strings, increased tempo and revised lyrics in the second chorus - all to better represent the story of Leo's fantasy love affair.

Leo's Fantasy (I Want Your Love) _ 20250525_3

A touching story of one man's heartbreak over the sudden disappearance of his Turkish chatroom friend who, upon receiving personal threats, became frightened, deleted their chatroom account, went into hiding and disappeared, never to be heard from again. 

The Turkish title "Seni seviyorum, Seni özlüyorum" translates to "I Love You, I Miss You", and there are several other Turkish phrases in the lyrics: "Lütfen bir gün geri dön yanıma" heard twice in the later half means "Please come back to me one day", and "Güzel yüzünü tekrar göreyim" heard in the epilogue means "Let me see your beautiful face again". This story can be considered as a follow-up to my song "Leo's Fantasy", also on this site. 

The bulk of the lyrics, melodies, vocals and arrangement were generated by prompted AI (Suno AI), with extensive editing, lyric rewriting, production supplementation and compositing in my Presonus Studio One DAW.  Refinement of the mix will be ongoing, mainly for reduction of the sizzling distortion heard in some of the AI lead vocals, but also for possible tweaking of the lyrics.

Seni seviyorum, Seni özlüyorum (Extended AI Arrangement)_REV 20250926_1+

An instrumental TV/Cinematic theme with an Orchestral Rock vibe. Years ago, when I worked at a job in Kingston, NY, a colleague told me stories about his apartment being haunted by beautiful female ghosts who would wake him up with banging noises in the middle of the night. I wrote this instrumental theme in the mid '80's from that inspiration, using the synths (2 Casio CZ-101s, Yamaha FB-01) and reel-to-reel & cassette recorders I had back then. 
     Now, I've "collaborated" with Suno AI to reimagine a fully re-orchestrated rock arrangement of my original composition. Suno generated much of this new  arrangement as a series of "covers" of my uploaded original 1980's hissy/distorted cassette recording. The production was then completed in my Studio One Pro DAW using modern hardware & VSTi synths, digital audio production tools, and extensive editing & compositing techniques. The mix may change and evolve over time in response to any feedback or comments I receive. Your feedback is most welcome.
