Slow sad thing I did about a year ago while on the tail end of a deep depression following my father's death. Don't see myself working on it more and I've sat on it long enough, so here it is.

   compulsion leads the way  
passionless and distant
  living pattern

I’ve carried these habits
 with me for so long  
highs vanish   perceptions damaged
 In me
 I grow numb

    headlong dive
 Into decay
 Until the stimulation
 Stimulates no more
inquisition  falls away  dogmatic and persistent  living pattern
