Let's Have a Moment of Science! During the last few years, the microbiota has been a hot research topic for many scientists in medicine, nutrition and health. The microbiota (or microbiome) is a community of microorganisms like bacteria, virus, fungi, etc. living as friendly guests in our gut. But did you know that the microbiota makes the majority of our body cells and is therefore strongly connected to our overall health and gut feeling?! 

One of the most worldwide recognized microbiome experts, Prof. Dr. Jens Walter, shared with us his expertise on the microbiota and why it is important to keep our microbes healthy and happy!
