Born in Cambridge, UK to Hungarian parents, Ben Gomori is a London-based DJ, producer, podcaster, label owner and event curator who began DJing in 1999 and producing solo in 2010 after several years working collaboratively with other producers. 

He runs Monologues Records and is the man behind official afro edits label Sterns Edits and vinyl-only imprint G-Edits (where he releases edits under his G. Markus alias).

He hosts the weekly Turned On podcast and is the creator of the RecordReplay Bargain Bin 2nd-Hand Vinyl podcast and the Pitchblack Playback Album Listening Sessions in the Dark.

He’s released music on labels like Soul Clap Records, Atjazz Record Company, True Romance, Future Disco or Exploited and has been remixed by artists such as Massimiliano Pagliara, Asadinho or Jordan Nocturne. His own remixes include the likes of Morcheeba, X-Press 2, Dusky or Moodymanc.

As if this wasn't enough, he’s a busy man playing gigs for Brilliant Corners in London, Pikes in Ibiza, Sisyphos in Berlin or Badaboum in Paris among others.

Recorded live at London's XOYO his SOULMEEX PRO 002 is a very good proof of his diverse music taste and versatility behind the decks playing afro, disco, house, deep, acid and more.

Love int. has always had a special place in our hearts and with it the beach stage has kind of become a home from home over the years. 
We’re always very grateful for the ongoing support and involvement. Like a residency the regulatory can bread a strong understanding and confidence about how and what to play. This set genuinely comes from our love for the festival, and with it highlights our approach threading a story to showcase our style and vibe. There’s some imperfections but hopefully that adds to the authenticity of the moment.

Opolopo is the Yoruba word for "plenty", a word that best exemplifies the diversity of this production wizard and DJ’s musical voyage. Whether it's house, boogie, broken beat, funk or soul, his compositions and productions are always uncompromising with a steady gaze on the horizon and a quick glance in the rear-view mirror. 

Opolopo DJ:s from London to Tokyo. His sets span from funk, boogie and soul to various shades of house. From sweaty, stripped down and dirty, to uplifting and lush. All unified by his worship of The Groove.

Born in Hungary and raised in Sweden, he spent the early part of his creative development tagging along with a touring keyboardist father and listening to fusion and electronic records. Artists like Herbie Hancock, Jeff Lorber, Earth Wind & Fire, Quincy Jones, Jean-Michel Jarre, Isao Tomita, and Kraftwerk helped feed his ingenuity. The likes of George Clinton, Bootsy and General Caine infected him for life with the funk virus. 

His music spans over two decades on labels such as Local Talk, JVC Japan, Z Records, Toolroom, Warner Brothers, Tru Thoughts, Sony/BMG, Defected and Especial Records. Collaborations/remixes include Grammy nominated vocalist Gregory Porter, Omar, Steve Arrington, Lisa Stansfield, Shaun 
Escoffery, Sandy Barber, The Sunburst Band, Mario Biondi, Azymuth, Jungle, Sylvester, Leroy Burgess, Roland Clark, Dexter Wansel and many more.

After spending eight months in Dubai as the first ever resident DJ and Music Director at a Four Seasons hotel, he's now back in Stockholm, touring the world and working on new material. 

Opolopo made #4 on Traxsource's top 100 Soulful House Artists of 2015. 2019 saw him make #5 on Traxsource's top 100 Soul/Funk/Disco Artists and in 2021 he grabbed the #4 spot. He made #21 on the new "Traxsource Top 500 Artists of 2022" list and also scored 5 overall # 1s.
