We’re excited to welcome label favourite, Balrog, to the MIT Radio Show. Hailing from the Yorkshire Dales just outside of Leeds, Balrog is an artist to watch out for and his music has received support from some of the biggest in the scene including Amelie Lens, Dax J, Rebekah, Perc, Paula Temple, Manni Dee, and many more. Recently he did a collab with the boss @rudosa, which has been sat in the top 10 hard techno chart for some weeks now. Moments In Time Radio Show 027 - Balrog

Mark Greene is an electronic music producer and qualified sound engineer based in Ireland. After completing his training in the Sound Training Centre in Dublin under Will Kinsella (Hybrasil), Mark began signing some early tracks to various labels in Europe. Quite soon after, Mark was releasing tracks on well established labels like Bush Records, Naked Lunch, Elektrax and Carl Cox’ longstanding imprint Intec Digital. A string of popular releases allowed Mark to play gigs across Europe with regular trips to Amsterdam, in particular for the annual ADE each Autumn.

An avid drummer as a child, Mark has always had an affinity for heavy kick-drums in his tracks. As the years have gone by his productions have gained some bpm and Mark’s music is now finding its way into the hands of DJs at the forefront of the industrial techno scene. Rebekah, I Hate Models, Theo Nasa, Chris Liebing, D.A.V.E. The Drummer, Amelie Lens and more are supporting his productions of late, particularly his original tracks on his newly established DORCHA Records - meaning ‘dark’ in the Irish language. Mark launched DORCHA in 2020 to circumnavigate the typical months-long process of releasing on other labels. DORCHA is a place for Mark to release tracks on his own schedule and experiment with various different styles and creative approaches. The aim of the label is to identify new artists and build a small roster to carry the DORCHA flag.

Active resident of the renowned Montreal collective OCTOV, Dopamyne is a well-known queer DJ in the Quebec rave scene. With her contagious energy, her explosive track selection and her
surgically precise mixes, she carved herself a solid reputation at national and international levels. Her journey began in 2008, when she first came into contact with gabber and hardcore music. She
then developed a serious passion for high energy electronic music, and a burning desire to share her admiration for underground sounds. Very active in her local scene, it took only a few months
to see Dopamyne appear on the biggest rave line-ups all over the province and country.

Exploring various styles over the years, she’s understood that the harder side of techno creates real havoc on the dancefloors. Influenced by her own feelings and her soul-stirring past,
Dopamyne never fails to curate fiery & emotion-packed DJ sets. Adrenalin enthusiast & impulsiveby nature, she loves to surprise her audience with hard, fast-paced driving sounds, but also with
a touch of sentimentalism & melancholy. Dopamyne never ceases to widen her musical spectrum and loves to incorporate music from different eras in her work. Blending several genres like corrosive hard techno, UK hard dance, hypnotizing acid, groovy techno, early hardstyle, as well as the epic vibe of hard trance in her mixes, she will certainly transport you musically into the rave nostalgia.

For this podcast, Dopamyne wanted to do something a bit different than her usual. She delivers afast-paced DJ set inspired mostly by powerful grooves, catchy rhythms & dream-like atmospheres,
all with a touch of heavy sounding tracks.

Lady Maru is a roman now Berlin based electronic producer and post punk musician.

She became  active as a noise guitarist for post punk and no wave bands whereas her dj career started some years later  djing in clubs and underground raves, always trying to combine 2 influences: art punk and techno.

Her actual sound as a producer and as a dj is mostly based on hardtechno with acid , industrial and ebm influences.

She recently deals with a vinyl label for acid tunes (Acid boiler coalition) and is a Gegen Berlin resident dj.
