CK the DJ (she/her) has a fun childlike allure and you feel her joy emanating on the dance floor while she is playing.   She creates a journey in all of her sets, connecting with the audience’s hearts and souls while maintaining a happy house music vibe.  She mixes in different genres of music including: house, breaks, worldly and pop music.  Her genuine loving nature shows in her performance.  Her love of the music always brings a magnetic energy to the party.  CK has played at Burning Man for the Flaming Lotus Girls, Monarch, The Great Northern, HPZ in San Francisco and many private venues and parties in the San Francisco Bay area. 
 
CK is also one of the three founders of an all female Queer DJ collective called Mudita Beats (along with DJ’s Bad Rose´and Panthera).  Mudita Beats is responsible for producing year-round booty shaking in the Bay area.  The collective, along with her DJ career, started in 2023 and has built a name for themselves in the Bay area dance scene. 

Mudita is a sanskirt term that means joy or pleasure.  Mudita is a sympathetic or altruistic joy in the happiness of others. It produces a mental state that is calm, free and fearless, and open to deep insight.  We strive to bring this mental state to the dance floor.  To show joy is to celebrate happiness and achievement in others even when we are facing tragedy ourselves.  Your joy is our joy.  May the music sustain us in our human experience.
