This DJ mix is named after the city Salvador (Bahia) which I visited in 2020. All the good memories and positive energy I experienced while being there I put into this mix. This is the result.

End the year on an energetic note with the final instalment of our Mental Picks series from Expmental Records. As we mark 15 successful years, we reflect on a year characterized by superior events held at Sonar week, London, Manchester, Ibiza, and culminating at ADE in Amsterdam. 
Our concluding Mental Picks compilation introduces an eclectic mix of three tracks from a diverse array of talented artists. 
We commence with a track from Schime, now featured for the second time on our label within the same year.
Our second offering is a complex track that blends the signature styles of India-born Adam Rahman and Sonic Jay based in Dubai, marking their first contribution to our label.
To encapsulate the collection, Eddy Romero, the linchpin of our label, collaborates with Dave Hang for a sonically intriguing closing track crafted during the post-Sonar week festivities. 
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our supporters for their unwavering encouragement throughout the year. Keep an eye out for more releases that await you beyond this collection.

Salim se ha posicionado a lo largo de su trayectoria como DJ como uno de los curadores de música electrónica underground más establecidos e interesantes de Costa Rica, gracias al dinamísmo, versatilidad y riqueza musical en sus sets, en los que se puede encontrar una combinación de sonidos actuales, orgánicos, oscuros y melódicos en medio de géneros como el progressive house, afro house, melodic house e indie dance.

Salim, egresado de DJLab desde el 2016, y actualmente estudiante de producción musical, es amante del arte del story-telling a la hora de crear sus sets.  El equilibrio entre mezclas enérgicas y sonidos progresivos y ambientales, junto con matices como breaks, elementos orgánicos o voces, genera un característico y agradable flujo musical con gran variedad de emociones. Esta propuesta lo ha llevado a ser parte de prestigiosos eventos como Ocaso Music Festival, o Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, y a mezclar en los clubes  más grandes del país, como Club Vertigo, Antik, Selvática o El Garito, en donde ha compartido escenario con exponentes de talla mundial como Einmusik, Gespona, Emi Galván, Nicolas Rada, Amine K, Antrim, Yamil, Yulia Niko, Valentin Huedo, Zach Walker, entre otros.

Born in the mid 80's, Clain grew up in Paris. A musician since his childhood, he has also studied sound and image processing and worked as an engineer. The trip whether musical or cultural, has always been something that matters to him and Clain reveals different incarnations during his musical or audiovisual performance.
Social networks have been an integral part of our daily life for several years, he quickly became a video director in order to develop and share his projects. The drone, which is booming today, seduced him and he chose to add a string to his bow by becoming a professional pilot.
Clain’s spirit of adventure translates a life lived a hundred miles per hour. As a 2.0 dandy, his performances are the result and witness to a thirst for the new and the unexpected.
Expression of his passion and his enthusiasm for live performances, he aspires to always share his achievements.
