I have waited so long for this and now my dream has become true: Sade herself and Sony UK finally gave their okay to my secret edit so it is out now as an official Sade release on Get Physical // Poesie Musik and hits the stores on jan 16th 2015.

Poesie Musik has the very special honor to announce the release of a remix of a song known the world over, authored by no less than Sade. One of the prolific singer's most well-known creations, ‚Pearls‘ is given a deluxe makeover by German dance floor mainstay Timo Jahns, whose moody, melancholy personal sound fits perfectly with the sultry vocals on one of the crooner's most moving songs. 

Hailing from Göttingen, Timo Jahns has carved out a name for himself on the German party circuit thanks in part to an endless list of edited music and remixes on labels like Ponsactrilau, Underyourskin Records, Neverending, Cometomusic, Klang Gymnastik and 9Volt, as well as his own imprint FREUNDCHEN RECORDS, created for an intimate circle of few. 

This latest foray into the reworking of certain melodic masterpieces comes after Timo’s remixes of music by the likes of songstress Melody Gardot and Bon Iver just last year. For this special rendition of ‚Pearls‘, the producer has carefully lead the tune into deep-house terrains and turned it into a track just begging for summer afternoons and thoughtful chill-out sessions.

Clain, raised in the vibrant city of Paris, has been immersed in music since childhood. A classically trained musician with a deep passion for sound exploration, Clain pursued advanced studies in sound and image processing, which eventually led to a career as an engineer. However, his heart always remained tied to the arts, particularly music and culture, both of which play a central role in his life. For Clain, each performance—whether musical or audiovisual—reveals a different incarnation of Clement, offering audiences a glimpse into his many creative dimensions.

Clain’s adventurous spirit reflects a life lived at full speed. A modern-day 2.0 dandy, he constantly seeks the unexpected and pushes boundaries in every set and show. His performances are dynamic, innovative, and infused with a passion for discovery, blending genres and styles in ways that captivate and inspire. For Clain, music is more than entertainment; it’s a vehicle for exploration, personal expression, and connection.

In late 2022, Clain founded "MUSIC as MEDICINE", a radio show, label and party dedicated to electronic music. This weekly show is a natural extension of his desire to heal and inspire through music, providing listeners with a sonic journey that reflects Clain's diverse musical influences and creative vision. Through "MUSIC as MEDICINE," he not only curates exclusive mixes but also highlights emerging talent and unique tracks from across the globe.
