Quincy Nicholson, aka QBEANS is a performing producer/sound engineer/DJ.  His first recordings in public performance are at age 11 as a percussionist was under the seminal direction of his father Anthony Nicholson, whose discography has been one of the most respected and sought after collections in dance music.  He served as his father engineer for six years, and collaborated on several productions spanning the genres of Dance, Jazz and Hip Hop music.  Quincy is also a fixture of the burgeoning underground hip culture of Chicago, as a go to producer and a talented lyricist.  QBEANS has coined the phrase progressive Hip Hop to characterize his music, which is a blend of Electro, Dance, Jazz, Soul & Hip Hop.

Whether you call it Dance, Electronica or House music (a moniker we truly despise,) Clairaudience has spent the last 19 years in continuing education learning how to make inspired music. Our motto was always, "Giving them something, they can feel. Can't think of a better way to categorize what we do.

Across our discography, the songwriting & production prowess of Anthony "Miquifaye" Nicholson has shaped this label. He has created almost every release on the label. Only a hand full of other folks have produced for the label (Ron Trent, Peven Everett, Taurus/Karl Injex & Michael Johnson, Space 7/David Sampson, Restless Soul/Phil Asher, Needs and multi instrumentalist William Kurk.) It's not a chop shop but an intimate work space geared to patronizing musical creatives.
