Caden's Cabin

Inspired by this Japanese fantasy picture and the idea to create a chillout track ideal for meditation and to relax to. This track uses a variety of synths and asian instruments.

This chillout piece was inspired by relaxed dance pieces I used to listen to in Spain that used the flamenco guitar.

Tillota's Tundra

Dark, reflective and unusual wanted to try something abit different this time! Experimenting with all logic pro only this time including usual ambient synths and also some interesting sounds of the countryside! Not my dog but he might feature on a track soon!

Freca's Fields

Futuristic chillout experimenting with logic loops and improvised sections over the top. Ascending into another place and mixing some traditional instruments like harps and recordings with different voices and beats.

Celestine's Clouds

Quite possibly my darkest track to date, around the idea of an imaginary desolate landscape that has been destroyed over time. This is also probably my first track which has more of a film music feel to it. I have used mostly orchestral instruments with some experimental synths and extra sounds as always though!

This is an upbeat trance/house track that uses some of the amazing loops that logic pro has to offer combined with my own arpeggiators, piano and pads.

This uses my own image- penguins enjoying a dip at London Zoo in the 40 degrees heatwave during the summer of 2022!

Drifting With You

A blend of styles and different instruments and loops, exploring across genres. 
This is one of my own photos taken on a very special holiday, the night skies were incredible which inspired me to name this track!

Colour The Night

I have wanted to compose for a good while and final got round to doing this short Celtic experimental ambient piece. I am very impressed with the new uilleann pipes lab sound library it has a lovely sound.  I have also used bells, pads, arpeggiators and even gongs to create this short Celtic  inspired song from my time at this beautiful loch which has a ripple retreat for cancer patients.

A Fresher Outlook

I was lucky enough to visit California late December/early January and part of trip included a visit to Alcatraz Island. After visiting have had the heebie-jeebies ever since (this track will not help that ha!). I wanted to create a track that reflected what it is like for a person being trapped inside prison slowly losing their mind. This track is created predominantly from sound effects which is a first for me as is the style of music as my music generally seems to normally be more calm in nature! Hope you enjoy my short track experiment,  the full Alcatraz experience!

Catchy, this tune has been in my head all day! Managing to find the time to compose again is so so good!

Chasing Her Rainbows

Getting creative during lockdown, this is very basic software so hoping to explore it further with live instruments or better software. Inspired by film, celtic and ethereal music for this one- hope you enjoy!!

Lockdown Lullaby

Another lockdown inspired track in my favourite key- i hope you like the unusual sound it creates and can get a sense of narrative when you listen to it. Also just using musescore like my previous track.

This was the first track that I created in Lockdown using a Sibellius free trial but i found the instruments weren't as I hoped. My friend then put it into Logic for me and it sounded much better!

Supernova

I'm a very busy self employed piano teacher and music workshop facilitator for people with learning disabilities. I have been lucky enough to do this since moving  up to beautiful Scotland in late 2016 which is now my home. I love my job but work long hours and have found composing to be a great way to relax and it's something I have wanted to do properly for such a long time!

I've now  been making music since the start of lockdown, it gave me the time I needed to properly pursue it as a hobby, I now try and do it when I can on days off but wish I could devote more time to it again! My music is mostly ambient/chillout with inspirations of world music, folk, dance and prog thrown in! I also love film music too...hope you enjoy listening.
