Tender Tokens is a show on Refuge Worldwide, created with your wellbeing in mind. With this show I take the opportunity, solo and with guests, to take a deep dive into the weird, wonderful and nostalgic music that DJ's and non DJ's don't often get a chance to play anywhere. A combination of comforting synths, deep underwater dubs, and just the right amount of beats to carry you through the day.

Influences: I grew up raving to Drum n’ Bass and this is the genre I first learnt to mix when I was 18 so this influences my style a lot. I also grew up listening to a lot of Hip Hop, Tribe called quest, De La Soul and this influences a lot of the music I play in my radio show, Tender Tokens. To be honest a lot of influences are from friends! Esposito, Darwin re:ni, Elke and the Reef party crew always give me so much life and inspiration. 

Affiliations/Residencies/Projects: On Refuge Worldwide I have a show called Tender Tokens which is focussed more on music for your wellbeing. This includes usually downtempo, hip-hop & ambient but also some dance music, garage, breaks and DnB because dance music is also good for your wellbeing! The show is usually bi-monthly and sometimes I also invite guests. 
Together with a friend we run an Event series called Double Trouble here in Berlin which is an art exhibition/party hybrid which focusses more on bass music and there I am a resident. We aim to showcase Berlins finest femme talent regardless of starting out or expert. The event series is just starting out but so far is a success and we can’t wait for our three events coming up this year! 
I am also in a DJ Duo with another friend, Elke & Claire (Future Friends). We used to do a Radio show together on Radio80000 but now we are sticking to the dance floor rather than the airwaves and have fun doing so!

I wanted to create something that had a vibrant, summery yet dope feeling and it just so turned out id been subconsciously collecting the right tunes to make that happen.

My first rave experiences were to the sounds of Drum n’ Bass and although I’ve strayed from the genre and now love and play other stuff, I think my non 4/4 roots come through in most things that I do. I like the versatility and experimentation of a breakbeat and feel it leaves more room to play - both behind and in front of the DJ booth.

I co-founded two projects here in Berlin, Double Trouble and FACILITATE. For Double Trouble, we do two versions of the night, one being focussed on the art of _baerchenwurst_, displayed on a backdrop of ambient music at our cute hangout spot Kwia and the other is pure party at Zur Klappe. We focus on bass music and are FLINTA so that plays a big role in the curation. I run the night together with DJ Doc and we started in December 2022. 

FACILITATE. I run together with DJ NORTHERN and we are a FLINTA Drum n’ Bass event which we started in November 2023. Both events were started to create more space for FLINTA DJ’s in the Berlin bass music scene, to make more space for bass loving queers on the dance floor and also just because we love it!
