Devotional Improv! A sound letter to Eddie Donald and the Transients :) An Alice Springs based band that I play in, though I am based in Melbourne now.  We want to live life and make the most of it and the seasons will turn :) So this improv is tapping into a connection that is life long, there is no need to stress or feel pressure.

Ease Your Limits

San Tuanito celebrates the annual time of purification in Ecuador, South America. 

In 2010 I worked with Mario Jurado, a Sydney based Ecuadorian Musician and Craftsman to design an enriching and beneficial performance for a young audience. Mario is an abundant generous musician! A joy to work with and learn from with my violin. We play these songs San Tuanito and La Venada together. These songs are sung  by the people of South America around the 26th of June to celebration the annual time of purification.

A story is being told, in the mountains of Ecuador, Peru, and Bolivia. 
Rain of snow is falling down to the earth, and still I am singing. Even if it continues to fall for one, two or three days, I will continue to sing my story.

I went to hunt in the mountains, in the mountains I went hunting. And then, I was ready, to throw my spear, and the moment I was going to do it, I realized that the animal was no animal, but my brother in law. I got a rope and, pretending that I was going to catch him, I caught him. 'You were playing a trick on me' my brother said. "Yes" and then I say "you could be killed because I was going to throw you a spear, so I used rope to teach you that I could have taken your life away."
