Claire Bender is an undergraduate at the University of Missouri Kansas City looking to receive a degree in music therapy with a vocal emphasis.  She is currently part of the Concert Choir in the UMKC Conservatory. She has been part of many different choirs from a very young age.  These consist of Young Singers of Overland Park, Kansas Middle Level State Honor Choir, Kansas North East District Honor Choir (2011-2013), and received 1 rating's at the Kansas State Solo and Ensemble in the years 2010-1012. Once she receives her degree in music therapy, she plans to work with any age group to assist people with various needs through music.
