"Admittedly with their admiration for Prince Paul's "A Prince Among Thieves" Claire Hux (made up of singer Symbol and producer/rapper DLake) decidedly took a cinematic approach to their latest release "Underground Pop".  The semi- autobiographical story was thought up at a time when the group was at a crossroads; Remain underground or try their hand at pop.  The result is a wild hybrid of both.  While still sticking to their underground roots, Claire Hux created their most accessible record to date with a plot that shows the vast differences in their personalities, which creates a struggle during their creative process.  A vixen by the name of Celeste Davis (played by "Rara Holt") introduces herself to them and manages to form a wedge between the group, which leaves both members not trusting the other and questioning their friendship.  This is by far the most ambitious and enjoyable listen from the guys who have shown much growth as songwriters and performers.  Sit back, put on your earphones, and enjoy the drama of Underground Pop- A story about Love, Betrayal and Triumph."
