About this mix:

I’m in the habit of recording all of my sets for my own scrutiny after a gig, and it is rare that anyone else will hear these recordings as there is usually some minor detail that I am not happy with. I’m a perfectionist at heart but this can drag your attention away from what is important, and that is the journey. So I’ve learned to let go a little and embrace the imperfections, as this helps add value to any mix I think.
 
This is a segment of my 2-hour warm up set that was recorded live at The Rainbow in Birmingham on February 2018 whilst on Koden resident duties. This turned out to be one of my favourite DJ sets that I’ve played! Dialogue kindly asked if I could do a mix for their show, which has finally given me the right opportunity to share this one ‘warts and all’.
 
Featuring tracks from friends and some of my favourite artists including, Bnjmn, Teste, Mike Parker, Flat 39 and Abstract Man.
