RADIO:TRAUMA 022: NEIR
Neir is an Australian-based Producer, DJ and Designer. Her production work, inspired by artists she discovered at an early age (such as SOPHIE, Evian Christ and EPROM), is a blend of Hardcore, Noise, Dubstep and IDM. Her songs are making waves across the underground electronic scene; tracks such as Headlights and Hollow Point (featuring the legendary Blood Of Aza) are quickly gaining traction, recognition and respect from DJs and producers around the world who are shaping an integral part of the next wave in electronic music.
Her DJing takes heavy influence from the sound she explores within her production. She has played with acts such as Jack Blom, Hamdi, Codd Dubz and Cesco, with more shows on the way in the future. 

For her RADIO:TRAUMA mix, Neir has compiled a bouquet of sounds ranging from Trap and Experimental Pop to Deconstructed Club and Genre-Breaking Hardcore. A presentation of her influences, favorites and newest work (including two nuclear new unreleased tracks), this mix is a look into the mind of one of the most exciting new artists in electronic music.

Scold's Bridle

Cenaceae is a producer and DJ based in Kentucky exploring the intersection between calm and abrasive electronic music. After being exposed to experimental music from an early age, Cenaceae found their way into the online music production scene and has now made a name for themself in the deconstructed club space. Taking influence from experimental club producers such as Ship Sket and Blood Of Aza as well as ambient/collage musicians such as Elysia Crampton and Embaci, Cenaceae's soundscapes draw from the dichotomy of safety and insecurity, which in practice manifests as sonic reflections of their experience interacting with the world around them, ultimately capturing the feeling of being alive. Cenaceae is currently working on a collaborative mixtape that will be released later this year. 

For this mix, Cenaceae has drawn from both the ambient and hardcore corners of their experimental electronic library to create a mix rich with feelings of melancholy and euphoria. Featuring the work of previous radio show guests, their current influences as well as their own mashups and work, strap in as sonics bring your mind and body towards total freedom.
