I'm pioneering a new genre called Gnomewave. It is only partially a joke. 

This was recorded in one take on my Polybrute. Some limiting and EQ in post, and otherwise untouched.

The Majesty of Gnomedom

Improv on my Polybrute. It was originally intended to be in the Gnomewave vein but it ended up being an endearing waltz. I trimmed some sections down but otherwise it's untouched--just some compression and limiting.

Gnometta's First Waltz

An imposing tower cast a shadow
As far as I could see. 
It covered the land behind it in darkness.
The setting sun shone resplendently
On its facade and its majesty
Was only dimmed by the poverty in its hinterlands.

The Tower (version 1)

I gazed upon an easterly vista and 
Beheld a swift sunrise in 
The cool morning. 
Its warmth did not drive away the chill,
But I was comforted nonetheless.

The Sea (version 1)

The last of three pieces I was thinking about composing for the album I'm working on! This one started as a 7-minute jam on my Polybrute and I trimmed it down and added a few parts.

The Copse (version 1)

I'm back with a new jam! This one is almost entirely the Deluge, which is supplying the drums and pads. It's also sequencing three voices on the Digitone, which is where the bass and pads are from. Recorded in one take and lightly edited for length.

The Gnomes Return

Jam on the Deluge and Digitakt. All the percussion sounds are coming from the Digitakt, and all synth sounds are coming from the Deluge. I tried mixing some samples in too, but tbh I am not very good with samples.

Chillin' on the 8-bit Beach

Jam on my Deluge and Drumbrute. All audio was sent through the Microcosm. I love how atmospheric this pedal sounds, but it's easy to let it get out of hand. The uncut version of this is about 8 minutes long--I tried to just keep the best parts here. This track is best enjoyed on headphones!

Sands (Digitone Jam 4)

Re-uploading this track. I think I rushed the original version out the door too quickly. The hard part about doing these jams is knowing what to cut! 

This one was done primarily on my Digitone, which was controlled by my Keystep. Digitakt was doing all percussion. The bass synth was the Microbrute. Everything was routed into my Octatrack for processing and effects. I did a little limiting in post.
