Attila and Szilard are Pleasure Voyage, a DJ and production duo hailing from Budapest. Since 2018 they have been curating and performing their love of balearic and disco music which has led to their debut release LP "Daydreams".  A wonderful collection of seven songs, "Daydreams" is presented on Prins Thomas balearic leaning sub-label Horisontal Mambo. Each track is as alluring as the next; and the LP carries a wonderous seductive musicality throughout. There is of course a nod to the past in it's style, but the album retains a contemporary feel with it's breezy and carefree series of tracks that are designed to be enjoyed under warm summer skies. The production is silky and polished, and with Prins himself providing a gentle guiding hand, it's sure to be an album that will see us through the long hot summer months and far beyond. Simply essential.

Italoexotica debut release AMORE on wax 12". This crew of DJs/producers was born to promote made in Italy disco sound. Their goal is find for you just the best catchy tunes...starting from the 70s funk through the synths of the legendary '80 and the Balearic sound of the '90s, given' them a more contemporary grooves. Tip!

Donna Bambina is an old-time edit with italodisco sounds but still fully in Tamati's style.
The original song, Acqua e Sapone, written in 1983 by Vasco Rossi and set to music by Stadio for the Carlo Verdone film of the same name, has been reinterpreted with a wink to the dancefloor, while remaining faithful to the evocative original arrangement.

It took a long time to get this one done and we really had to wait a while for this drop. But it’s finally here and it blows our minds and souls.

After Al Kent’s killer joint that went by the title „Love & Care“, it’s Cuttlefish & Asparagus who once again deliver a strong three tracker made to work the hell out of every imaginable sound system. 

Mainly known for their unforgettable work on Black Sun’s self-titled epic track, Atlantis’ Cuttlefish & Asparagus deliver an A side that couldn’t work any hip harder. With a sound spectrum wider than the panama canal Hang On In There is guaranteed to turn any straight cut jeans into glossy orange bell bottoms and any mirror into a disco ball. 

On the B side Cuttlefish & Asparagus work out one of the most essential soul joints that always made you wonder why songs couldn’t play forever. Meticulously edited without changing the filth of the unique bassline, Loving You is a wild stomper made to immediately fill or blast any imaginable dance floor. 

And to adequatly close this drop, Drum Song transports the deep spirit of the crew behind KALAKUTA SOUL RECORDS who’s always after music they love to dance their asses off to. A Tropical bliss.

Hell Yeah call upon their merry crew of grown up groove makers to revisit key tracks from Quiroga's widely acclaimed Passages album, with Whodamanny, Jazz N Palms, A Vision of Panorama and My Friend Dario all stepping up.

The original album was noted as Piccadilly Records's Best Balearic Album of 2019 and a year on is still providing solace for us in these strange times. First to add his own spin to it is Periodica associate Whodamanny from Naples, whose magical take on 'Martinica Feelings' made it onto the excellent recent Buena Onda compilation, which is out now. It is a big hearted vocal reinterpretation filled with stomping kicks and twisted synths that bring the funk next to withering sci-fi effects and happy piano chords.

Clandestino have been involved in Leeds' underground music scene for over 20 years; regularly throwing diverse parties and inviting exciting DJ talent. Their esoteric style of dance music has gained them gigs at some of Europe’s premier club spots such as Renate in Berlin, Stalingrad in Paris, Geneva’s La Graviere and Powerhouse in Moscow in addition to being regular fixtures on the discerning festival circuit. Their monthly show on KMAH Radio is deemed essential and their podcast series is revered world wide for showcasing regular mixes from high caliber and lesser known DJ's.
