Actually, we think it’d be pretty chill if he took the reigns on the “the world’s unique soundtrack” and made it sound a little more like this velvety, floor-shaking, party-starting, spooky, hypnotic house track GHOST he delivered us on the back of a singing Alec Ounsworth from Indie Rock Band CLAP YOUR HANDS SAY YEAH.

Claptone steps out of the shadows once again with ‘The Music Got Me’, an exciting new offering from the mysterious enigma with the golden mask. 'Music Got Me' by Claptone is an authorised cover version of 'Music Got Me' by Visual which has been approved and licensed by Unidisc the rights holder.

As you would expect of new Claptone, 'The Music Got Me’ is destined for late nights and packed clubs all over, such are the enchanting powers of this otherworldly beast. However this one goes further still. The achingly cool 80s NYC disco/postpunk flavour combines with a distinct Chicago bassline to offer an exciting glimpse of the eclectic, indie vibe of his debut artist album (slated for release later this year on Different Recordings – the label that launched the careers of Crystal Castles, Tiga, Crystal Fighters, Vitalic).  

Claptone’s last two releases ‘No Eyes’ and ‘Ghost’ both topped the Beatport charts, the latter of which featured Clap Your Hands Say Yeah! (a collaboration we can only assume was arranged by some sort of séance). They went on to become enormous smashes on Berlin house label Exploited, earning the plaudits of the biggest DJs and setting Claptone off on a non-stop DJ tour across the globe.

If you’ve at all sniffed around the Beatport charts at some stage in the last 12 months, then it’s highly likely that you’ll have been hugely impressed by a Berlin-based duo that go under the name ‘Mat.Joe’. 6th July 2018 sees house music stars Junior Jack and Tube & Berger team up to deliver an impressive update to one of dance musics all-time much loved anthems, E Samba 2018. Originally released in 2003, E Samba took clubland by storm, it was THE summer hit of that year and became a certified house classic. Fast forward 15 years and now Germanys sought after DJ/producer duo Tube & Berger have put their own unique stamp on track by bringing it bang up-to-date with their trademark production techniques whilst maintaining the beloved essence of the original - the perfect summer anthem all over again!Tube & Berger explain: In our early raving days we were huge fans of Junior Jack and always thought of remixing E Samba. But, being completely unknown and lacking studio skills we didn't even asked for it. A couple of years and a few Beatport hits later we met Vito at Ibiza airport, took a selfie with him and Berger asked him if he was up for a collaboration. He loved the idea but again it took some time to send a rough demo of our E Samba interpretation. From that moment on, all three of us kept sending ideas to each other and testing them at clubs and festivals. It got better and better and here we are...
