This is my AIAIAI x HŐR Mix Challenge entry

This has been an amazing opportunity to experiment with my creativity and to create a dark fully immersive soundscape to transport you to a parallel universe with a fractured dystopian future not too distant from our own using loops and 3 decks to layer dark melodies  to bring a new dimension to my sound, controlling the energy as my set ebbs and flows against a backdrop of powerful pumping hard techno kick to keep what would be the sound of the underworld and to keep everyone dancing.

DJing is more than just getting behind the decks, that's the final part. It’s a way of expressing creativity. It's an art, it’s about discovering new music, rediscovering old favourites, playing with new ideas, experimenting, breaking the rules and pushing the boundaries, and having fun. 

It should have an idea/story like a film or book that you can lose yourself in and dance all night and escape reality. A reality that is only there for that night only, or that single livestream and that DJ set and that won’t/can’t be the same next time. To share and connect with friends, strangers or immerse yourself on your own then afterwards it is gone. 

Just a memory and back to reality.

Even if I don’t win, having the opportunity has been amazing, listening to the other entries and discovering new artists showcasing their talent has been fantastic!
