NASA’s Juno spacecraft has observed plasma wave signals from Jupiter’s ionosphere. This display is a frequency-time spectrogram. The results in this figure show an increasing plasma density as Juno descended into Jupiter’s ionosphere during its close pass by Jupiter on February 2, 2017.  

The intensity, or amplitude, of the waves is displayed based on the color scale shown on the right. The actual observed frequencies of these emissions approach 150 kHz, which is above the human hearing range. To bring these signals into the human audio range, the playback speed has been slowed by a factor of about 60. The momentary, nearly pure tones follow a scale related to the electron density, and are likely associated with an interaction between the Juno spacecraft and the charged particles in Jupiter’s ionosphere. The exact source of these discrete tones is currently being investigated.

Welcome to the 63th Ambient Sessions presented by Deep Electronics.
This monthly released podcast brings you the best and the most diversity Ambient music can offer.
It's the first sunday of December and the last Ambient Sessions for 2019 and that means a brand new session!
This months set is a reprise of a set that I released back in the day in 2013. Originally it was released by The Watcher himself but later on also  by DEP. It deserves a proper place in the Ambient Sessions to get listened again. Icesolationism, ice cold ambient with a deep intens and sometimes dark twists makes this set unique.

The planned artist for december had to postprone the mix to a later date due personal issues. Keep you all posted on that.

Bio:

Stumbling upon an LTJ Bukem mix cd as a teenager, a love for drum ?n bass manifested itself early in Watcher (Arjan van Vliet). After showing much promise as a humble bedroom dj, he set out to make club and radio appearances all over Holland alongside some of the scene?s biggest names, establishing himself as a sought-after opening dj and earning him a Dutch Drum ?n Bass Award nomination in 2007.

Welcome to the 256th Chapter of the Deep Electronics Podcast. A weekly released serie that brings you a diversity into the abyss of deep electronic music. This weeks set is a live registration from the performance of naya @ Ssi Noiseroom on the 15-11-2019 Sound museum. 

About the project and artist:
an experimental sound of field recordings, augmented by modern tools of sound design, a poetic form of creative monologue and vibration, permeated with goodness and gratitude to the universe - this is a brief description of the “nomadic soul” project.

the author of the project is a human, whose moral principles are dictated by the heart; a loving soul that hides the ocean, raging inside, behind a modest barely perceptible smile.
