Chicago-born, based in Berlin, Clarissa, spent his teenage years digging true Wax Trax! records, later falling down the techno hole and cutting his teeth as a DJ in NYC. He now lives in Berlin, DJing acidic laced techno, EBM and wave, while leading a vinyl label and mix series called "Braid Records" which has already 2 amazing releases. He shares a mix of techno, a blend of industrial, electronic body music and dark wave. Enjoy!

Chicago’s Dark Heaven offers up the ‘La Chasse’ compilation this July, featuring nineteen original compositions by artists from across the United States, Brazil, and France.
Founded in 2021, Dark Heaven is a Chicago based event company and collective focused on curating immersive experiences with underground electronic artists, installation/visual artists, and queer
performance artists. With bookings from the likes of Matrixxman, Nikki Nair, Overland, Ariel Zetina, Sard, Beau Wanzer, and kryptogram, Dark Heaven thrives in DIY spaces but has also made rounds in the club circuit, most recently at Smartbar and Podlasie Club. In late 2022, co-founder and artist Vorp, with the help of collective partner follidh, began curating La Chasse, translating to “the hunt” in French, launching Dark Heaven as a record label with a various artist compilation album.
With the ‘La Chasse’ compilation the Dark Heaven imprint has pieced together a broad spectrum of sonic influences. Across nineteen tracks the collection traverses through Electro, Jungle, Techno, Bass, Microhouse and Experimental Electronica. Tracks like D.Strange’s ‘Eros’, DVS NME’s ‘Herr Elektromotoren’ and Francois Dillinger’s ‘Persist To Resist’ employ classic Electro tropes with crisp drums, cinematic synth textures and gnarly bass lines. IVVY’s ‘Unstable’, Lokua’s ‘Keep It Going’, PV5000’s ‘DJ Do Baile’ and COMMON
GROUND’s ‘User Frndly’ shift the focus over to raw techno with high octane rhythms, and intricately intertwined synth work.
Double Dipp’s ‘Shock Me’, Ommen’s ‘a few things wrong with me’, ‘Detroit Receiving’ by Gino and Clarissa’s ‘An Ode To Nothing’ embraces a deeper, more reduced house aesthetic with a focus on low-slung 4/4 drums and textural atmospherics. Flex Blur also turns in a straight jungle workout driven by amen breaks and dreamy pads with ‘Doute’, KEEFE lays down breaks tinged ‘Big Donk Energy’ and Club Drippy turns in a murky slice of electronica with ‘Crashed’. The likes of Jace Inman, Linquency, Mafgar, rising star of Miami Sel.6 and
Vorp then diverge into experimental realms with their contributions, each employing intricately programmed, off-kilter rhythms, and expertly crafted sound design for a truly unique listening experience.

Mature Sūpynės 12th edition starts with the compilation of selected works of various mostly local artists, performing at Lithuanian electronic music festival dating back to 2006. Sacrament of penance 002 sees the welcome introduction of 3 new various artists. The opening track titled ‘Fictive Line’ is a labyrinthine collision of dark and atmospheric sounds which is enveloped in an aura of suspense. An aura of suspense that is answered for by the second track titled ‘Snara’ with it’s highly energetic and pulsating melodic characteristics. The third track titled ‘Circle Over My Head’ stands in stark contrast to this due to it’s heavy industrial overtones which contributes to a claustrophic feel. All of which is concluded by the explorative last track titled ‘Metempsychosis’ that is encapsulated by a state of tension created by a combination of dark and heard breakbeat sounds.

Sonic Groove Experiments is back with the Columbus, OH based artist’s raw, punishing old school influenced EBM and industrial sound. “Blight” comes off the album, The Idle Construct, which features 10 tracks of some of best body music you will hear this year. Artist Matt Auxier has long been involved in the heavier & darker side of music. In the late 90's and into the first two decades of the millennium, he recorded and toured in several bands in the genres of Hardcore Punk, Shoegaze, Triphop and Avant Garde. In 2017 he created 6th Circle as a solo project to focus on his first true musical love from his youthful years, EBM / Industrial music.
