Insert Coin is a 5-track EP built like a retro-futuristic video game soundtrack for the dancefloor — a concept record where each track becomes a new level, a new challenge, a new emotional state.

Inspired by late-night arcades, glitching CRT screens, and the high-stakes drama of boss fights, Insert Coin blends the nostalgia of 90s club culture with the energy of modern italo-trance and indie dance. The sonic palette merges punchy trance arps, analog basslines, and cinematic pads — all sculpted exclusively with the native instruments of Ableton Live 12 Suite, giving the EP a cohesive, raw yet polished identity.

Each track is structured like a level in a game:

You start with the flashing lights and the shy energy of the title track Insert Coin, an opening screen full of anticipation.

You ride into the night with Night Driver, where dreamy arpeggios and strobe-lit percussion echo the sensation of speeding through digital rain.

Level Up delivers euphoric peaks and analog bass, a moment of triumph and forward motion.
Things take a darker turn with You're Big Boss, a high-tension EBM-infused duel with twisted synth leads and breaky drums.

Finally, Game Over closes the journey with a melancholic yet driving rhythm — a reminder that endings can be just as powerful as beginnings.

More than a collection of tracks, Insert Coin is a tribute to a certain vision of dance music: one where club sounds tell stories, where retro aesthetics meet physical grooves, and where emotion is coded into every MIDI message.

The project is a love letter to Italo, trance, and video games — and to every dancer who ever dreamed with their eyes closed on a dark floor.
