BIOGRAPHIE

De l'emo-core au hip hop en passant par la bass music, Sylvère Letellier du haut de son mètre 98 possède un spectre musical aussi large que lui-même est long. 
 
D'abord orienté vers une techno indus. sous le patronyme The Deepressive, c'est une 
 rencontre dans les rues de Montmartre fin 2010 avec les membres de class84 qui lui donne accès aux points cue les plus réputés de Paris.
 
The Deepressive promène sa techno industrielle et métallique dans les travées du Showcase, du Social Club, du Moune et du Wanderlust. 
 
Conquis par les rythmes saccadés des beatmakers hip-hop et par les basses doublées de synthés uk à la sauce Jam City, il se convertit rapidement à la bass music fil rouge de sa résidence bimensuelle Wild Und Frei (Social Club).
 
Il abandonne alias et alter ego pour nous livrer son EP Spectrum, résultat abouti d'un travail autour de percussions, de basses sèches et de lignes rythmiques  exigeantes. En dehors de tout schéma classique, Dutty Bird et Spectrum se démarquent par leur modernité, à la frontière entre sonorités club et écoute nomade.

BIOGRAPHY


Everything from emo-core to hip hop ranges through the bass music from Sylvère Letellier and his musical repertoire is if possible as wide as he is tall with his 1.98 meters. 
 
Originally he was inspired by dark and industrial techno that was reflected by his stage name The Deepressive. An encounter with members from Class84 in the streets of montmartre in autumn 2010 gave him access to famous Parisian venues. 
 
The metallic techno from The Deepressive has been featured in various Parisian clubs such as Showcase, Social Club, Chez Moune and the recently opened Wanderlust. 
 
Seduced by the staccato rhythms from hip hop beat makers, bass from the UK and the juice from Jam City, Sylvère Letellier quickly evolved to pure bass music which emerged from his fortnight residency at Wild und Frei (Social Club)
 
He gave up his alias and alter ego to launch his Ep Spectrum - a successfully blend of percussions, black bass and dangerous lines of rhythm that breaks with any convention. 
 
Dutty Bird and Spectrum are characterized by their contemporay sound on the border between lounge and late night clubbing.
