Italian DJ and producer Manuold returns to Madhouse this February as he unveils his ‘Smiles’ EP.

Following a busy 2019 which saw releases via the likes of DJ Steaw’s House Puff and Spanish imprint Esuoh, not to mention a contribution to Madhouse’s ‘MMXIX’ Various Artists compilation, late-February sees Italian talent Emanuele Macagone, aka Manuold, deliver his first full EP on the label as he returns with his four-track ‘Smiles’ EP.

Lead cut ‘Smiles’ sees Macagone combine slick organic production licks alongside bright synth stabs and resonant vocal hooks, before ‘This Is Power’ reveals a series of hazy lead melodies atop of skipping drums and further slick vocal work. Next up, the paired back ‘Sweet Groove’ welcomes a well-worked balance of evolving synths at its core, before closing the package out via ‘Old Tradition’ – a slick, chord-driven final cut that feels perfectly at home on Chandler’s ever-impressing imprint.

Voyeur make a return to Madhouse Records this April with the ‘Tonight’ EP, comprising four original compositions from the rising duo.

Benson Herbert & Leo Picking aka Voyeur stepped onto the scene in 2012 with their ‘Blame It On The Youth’ EP, released through Kerri Chandler’s then fledgling MadTech imprint, the New Jersey legend has mentored the duo ever since shifting them onto parent label Madhouse with the ‘Rain Away’ EP and featuring a Voyeur remix of his and Jerome Sydenham’s ‘Mama’ on his Watergate compilation.
Here we see the pair return to Madhouse with their soul-infused sound that’s seen them pick up support from the likes of Norm Talley, Nicholas and John Daly.

Title cut ‘Tonight’ kicks off the release and sees Voyeur offer up a classically sample based cut, fusing an array of chopped up snippets with loose organic rhythms and ethereal synth flourishes running alongside analogue bass licks and hypnotic vocal murmurs. ‘Don’t Lie To Me’ retains a similar aesthetic with dusty drum sounds running alongside lavish piano, horn and vocal hooks.

Entering the latter half of the release we have ‘Why’ which takes on a jazz-infused house feel, employing infectious guitar riffs, fluttering Rhodes lines and a bumpy rhythmic swing. Closer ‘Philae & Rosetta’ then rounds off this classy collection on a deeper tip with sparse understated rhythms while an underlying blues vibe adds a smooth and smoky feel to things.

Madhouse Records returns on the 1st June (Traxsource Exclusive) / 14th June with a typically soulladen
house EP from Sebb Junior, entitled ‘Move It’ and featuring three original tracks from the
French Native.

Paris’s Sebb Junior is a relatively new name to most with only a handful of material under his belt via the
likes of San Francisco’s Salted Music headed up my Miguel Migs and Old School Department. Here we
see Sebb takes a leap in his career by joining Kerri Chandler’s long running Madhouse imprint, home to
the likes of Voyeur, Tony Lionni, Behling & Simpson and Nacho Marco.

Title cut move opens things up and sees Junior deliver a jazzy house number built around a rhythmic
New Jersey swing, fluttering Rhodes lines and dubby vocal murmurs making it a perfect fit for the
Madhouse catalogue.

Following is ‘Don’t Stop’ which lays its focus on emotive piano progressions, soaring pad lines and
classically sampled vocal chops. Closing piece ‘Let You Go’ then rounds things off on a deeper tip,
dropping the tempo and bringing smooth synth flourishes, raw drum lines and infectious R&B style
vocal hooks into the limelight.

This October will see Kerri Chandler’s Madhouse imprint offer up a ten-track compilation in the shape of ‘Madhouse Amsterdam 2015’.

The Madhouse imprint was launched in 1992 by Kerri Chandler and since its inception has been a driving force in the world of underground house having released material from the likes of Dennis Ferrer, Roy Ayers, Tony Lionni and of course the label-founder himself. Here we see the label, two decades deep, continue its momentum with more hard-hitting house cuts.

Across the eleven tracks we hear the New Jersey house aficionado deliver a slew of exciting new talent via his long running imprint, with established contemporary house producer Washerman delivering fresh original material. Plus a string of newcomers such as W&O Tracks Rhythm Operator
teaming up with Blueshift for ‘Perculating Nights’,  Amsterdam’s Ghetto Chords with ‘Preacher Boy’, Greek producer Sek who delivers the rough and ready ‘Hide & Kiss’ and London’s Jason Lee Ward’ with ‘Lost In The Crowd’ plus many more.

Mid December will see Kerri Chandler’s Madhouse Record return with a two-track single entitled ‘Outside/Tunnels’ and coming courtesy of Spaniard Nacho Marco.

Valencia’s Nacho Marco has been releasing material for over a decade now predominantly via his very own Loudeast imprint launched in 2007, but also for reputable imprints such as Josh Wink’s Ovum, Red D’s We Play House, Jimpster’s Freerange and of course Kerri Chandler’s Madhouse Records where he returns to here.

First up is ‘Outside’ which sees Marco deliver a classic slice of house laid out over eight minutes with all the defining characteristics of a Madhouse record, soaring piano lines, swinging New Jersey tinged rhythms and a choppy bass hook to smoothly drive things along.

On the flip Nacho offers up ‘Tunnels’ which takes things a little deeper with dusty 909 rhythms, soft ethereal atmospherics and layers of serene stab sequences resulting in a soft, mellow counterpart to the energy fuelled opening cut.

Late May will see Madhouse Records release ‘Madhouse Ibiza 2016’, featuring material from Till Von Sein, La Fleur, Jammhot and many more.

The long running Madhouse Records imprint is still very much a driving force for underground house music over two decades since it’s launch in 1992. Recent months have seen head honcho Kerri Chandler make a welcome return with his collaboration and reworking of ‘Track 1’ alongside Troy Denari, as well as material
from Demarkus Lewis, Voyeur and Nacho Marco. Here though we see the label push on with a look towards the summer with the various artists compilation ‘Madhouse Ibiza 2016’.

As always with Madhouse the compilation treats us to an array of soul-laden and energy fuelled house music with some notable names like Till Von Sein, who opens the compilation with his smooth hypnotic number ‘Daze’ led by chiming marimba and wandering harp patterns. Watergate’s La Fleur takes things into
darker realms with ‘Vervain’ via chuggy bass hits, swirling vocal licks and murky atmospheric textures, while JammHot lays the focus on fluttering Rhodes, a snaking square wave bass hook and hooky vocal hits.

Further contributions comes from the likes of Kiko Navarro with a dub infused house workout, Sebb Junior laying down a New Jersey garage vibe and Stefano Esposito & Timmy P with a stab-led, groove driven classic house cut amongst many more. As always Madhouse delivers high quality house designed squarely
at the dance floor, this time round throwing a sun drenched feel to things for the upcoming Ibiza summer.

Kerri Chandler’s Madhouse delivers it’s ‘Amsterdam 2016’ compilation this October, comprising a selection of eleven tracks, both back-catalogue and exclusive new material. 
The long running Madhouse Records, as well as it’s founder Kerri Chandler have long been purveyors of authentic and heartfelt house music since the early nineties and over the years the label has seen developing acts blossom alongside a catalogue boasting names such as Dennis Ferrer, Tony Lionni, Demarkus Lewis and of course Kerri ‘Kaoz’ Chandler himself. 
This time round it’s a retrospective compilation coming in the shape of ‘Amsterdam 2016’, reflecting on past times whilst also stirring in some new flavours from Chris Stussy and Soledrifter. Both up and coming artists deliver their modern twist on classic house sounds with Chris Stussy’s ‘Let People Know’ and ‘My Mission’ laying down deftly flowing, organic rhythms and smooth chord sequences in a subtly unfolding fashion. Whilst Soledrifter pairs up with ISSA for a raw and energetic composition led by bright stab hits, soaring strings and a weighty bass lead, whilst ISSA adds a soulful edge to the record. 
Across the rest of the package we revisit some of the labels key highlights from recent times from the likes of Washerman, Voyeur, Tony Lionni, Supernova and more.

Madhouse Records kick starts 2017 with a new single from Roog & Dennis Quin featuring Berget Lewis, entitled ‘Igohart’ and accompanied by Josh Butler and Frag Maddin.
Dutch duo Roog & Dennis Quinn have been steadily carving out a name for themselves over the past few years via labels like Defected, Toolroom, Simma Black and Get Twisted Records with their energetic house style. Here we see the pair opening 2017 with a fresh new collaboration in the shape of ‘Igohart’.
The original mix opens the package and sees Roog & Quin employ thunderous subs and crunchy 909 rhythms alongside classic house stabs sequences and Berget Lewis’ soul drenched vocal stylings to create something that’s truly the embodiment of the Madhouse sound.
Josh Butler then steps up to remix ‘Igohart’ next, delivering a more contemporary feel to things via a robust square bass lead, dubbed out stab hits and low-slung drums whilst extracting snippets of the original vocal and reworking them with a looped and filtered, hooky approach. Germany’s Frag Maddin then closes out the single with a deeper interpretation laying focus on emotive strings, piano chord shots, encapsulating low-end tones and stripped back percussion.

New Jersey’s Kerri Chandler is one of the true originators of the house music game. His Madhouse Records imprint that launched in 1992 has seen over a decades worth of quintessential releases from the likes of DJ Steaw, Demuja, Kevin Over and many more. Kerri’s remixes of CPEN and Bluey Robinsons previously released single on the label brings a close to yet another successful year for the Madhouse camp.

‘Kerri’s 623 Again Dub Mix’ maintains the infectious melodies and pulsating low ends from the original before his ‘623 Again Vocal Mix’ adds tastefully infectious vocals to the package.

Rolling percussion, deep bass lines and inspiriting synth lines take the focus in ‘Kerri’s Dark Dub’ until ‘Kerri’s Feel Vocal’ finishes things off by balancing delightful keys, fluid bass tones and the captivating vocal lines of Bluey Robinson combining to create a harmonious atmosphere throughout.

CPEN and Bluey Robinson return to Madhouse Records in late February as they reveal their latest single ‘When U Say’.

A firm fixture of the US deep house scene for almost two decades, West Coast talent Chris Penny aka CPEN has remained a name of note releasing music via the likes of Seasons Recordings and Memorabilia, whilst rising talent and vocalist Bluey Robinson made his impressive first foray into the scene last year having previously provided vocals across a range of genres from soul through to hip-hop and beyond.

Following the release of their debut collaboration ‘I’m Searching’ on the label in 2018, re-visited by label boss Kerri Chandler in December as he delivered three fresh interpretations championed by the likes of The Black Madonna, Anja Schneider, Groove Armada and Catz ‘n Dogz, the pairing now delivers their latest collaboration ‘When U Say’ on the imprint to kick start 2019.

Opening the release, the Dub Mix of ‘When U Say’ sees Penny delve for a combination of classic organ leads amongst slick, skipping percussion, before releasing the soulful and infectious vocals of Bluey throughout the Vocal Mix. Last up, the focus is shifted solely to the music as the Instrumental rounds out the package in style.

Berlin based talent Black Loops arrives on Madhouse Records to deliver his four-track ‘JAH Love’ EP this April, featuring two cuts alongside Nikoss.

With releases on Toy Tonics, Freerange, Pets Recordings and Neovinyl to name just a few, Riccardo Paffetti aka Black Loops has built a stellar reputation as one of house music's most consistent and impressive names since making his production debut back in 2013. A skilful hand both within the studio and behind the decks, the Italian's slick blend of deep and soulful house music takes cues and inspiration from funk, disco and beyond, with his latest batch of productions coming in the form of his ‘JAH Love’ EP on Madhouse Records this April, featuring New Zealand producer and musician Nikoss.

Title track ‘JAH Love’ opens the package through a smooth blend of skipping percussion, infectious vocal samples and funk heavy instrumentation, before ‘Your Mind’ introduces the first of two productions alongside Nikoss as rich piano melodies and acid-tinged bass patterns merge effortlessly throughout the track’s six-and- a-half-minute duration.

Madhouse Records welcome back Ossie to deliver his latest single ‘Yeah, We Feel It’ this July.

Championing a versatile and eclectic approach, London based artist Ossie is known for drawing influences from jazz, hip hop and R’n’B in his productions, consequently leading to releases across a broad spectrum of labels from Exploited and MTA Records to BBE Music, Hyperdub and Wolf Music Recordings. When not producing, Ossie has made numerous Boiler Room appearances and has graced the decks throughout Europe including at fabric (London), The Golden Pudel (Hamburg) and Outlook Festival, and he now returns to Madhouse Records following his release ‘Unified’ on the label in late 2018 with two deep original cuts and a broken beat rework entitled ‘Yeah, We Feel It’.

Kicking things off, ‘Yeah, We Feel It’ calls back to the 90’s with a classic leading piano line which is updated by injections of warped chords, spacey atmospherics and soulful vocal stabs. Next up the ‘Sunshine Mix’ channels the recently ignited broken beat scene, showing off Ossie’s ability to balance house with jazz fusion in order to create a high energy, sunny banger. Finishing the package, ‘It’s Alright’ utilises a bouncing bass, vibrant high hats and deep organ-like Rhode chords which point to the spiritual roots of house music.

Irish talent Mark Laird debuts on Madhouse Records this September with his four-track ‘Fly’ EP.

A rising name that will be familiar to followers of Houseum, Donegal producer Mark Laird is the latest emerging talent from the blossoming house scene that looks set to make his mark on proceedings across Europe and beyond. With releases to date via Bellisima and Hopera Records, the home of ‘Funk That’ which has now racked up over two million streams on YouTube and support from the likes of Cinthie and Mall Grab in the process, and here we see further evidence of his development as an artist as he makes his debut on Kerri Chandler’s Madhouse Records with a slick four-tracker in the form of his ‘Fly’ EP.

Title cut ‘Fly’ opens proceedings with authority as Laird combines jacking percussion with resonant stabs and sharp vocal interjections, before the lively ‘Sneakin’ utilises bright piano chord melodies amongst punchy kicks and crisp claps. A fundamental part of the UK scene since the early 90’s, with over 4 million record sales and three UK top 20 singles to his name, London’s Jeremy Sylvester needs little introduction when it comes to the world’s of both house and garage. Anil Aras debuts on Madhouse Records this March as he unveils his new EP, ‘The Lost Projects’.

Netherlands based DJ and producer Anil Aras has been gaining recognition for his Phreaks of Visions project over the last year alongside musical partner Lockland, but is probably best known for his stellar solo material on labels such as Hot Haus, SlapFunk Records and Beste Freunde. As a DJ he has played across the globe alongside key sets within Amsterdam at the likes of Shelter, BRET and Thuishaven, as well as featuring as a regular at both ANOTR’s No Art events and as a key member of the SlapFunk family. He now debuts on Madhouse Records with a standout four track EP entitled ‘The Lost Projects’ featuring his own unique take on house music.

Appropriately titled lead cut ‘Mad Houz’ opens proceedings with a heads-down, rolling groove that perfectly sets the tone, before ‘Need Da Bass’ journeys into classic deep house territories with a rough and raw rhythm track lifted by loose percussion, subtle keys and soulful vocal snippets. Next, ‘Free Your Mind’ is a deep and smooth house affair fueled by soothing chords and a spoken word vocal refrain, leading into the EP closer ‘Adara’ - a stripped back production that marries delicate synth lines with icy snares to great effect.

With the sun poking it's head out from behind the clouds here in London we're well and truly feeling the summer vibes at Madhouse HQ, and what better time to unleash this laid-back vocal groove from Jay Ennès & Troy Denari?

Projecting a total beach feeling from the Netherlands is surely an almost impossible task, but producer Jay Ennès and vocalist Troy Denari have managed it, serving up "When You Say This" to lead you into beach and barbecue season!  Troy is a name to remember, with forthcoming collaborations with Kerri Chandler in the wings (more news on that soon).

We're pushing your expectations a little with the remixes on this release, and first up we've drafted in Applebottom from our sister label Madtech, whose "All Nite" release in January gained much acclaim.  Applebottom has taken a cut & paste approach to the vocal, while electronic synth bass and beats drive the mix on.  Plenty of switches in this one to keep things interesting.

Friend of Madhouse Steve Mill teams up with his sometime production partner Elias Tzikas to transport us back to the late 80's / early 90's on their remix.  This one is straight out of the "nu disco" camp , building throughout towards a house piano accompaniment to complement the vocal towards the end.

Pep & Rash's rework is straight up UK Garage with it's trademark swung beats working perfectly around Troy's vocal.  This one's another ideal summer track - expect to hear this in the resorts in the coming months!
