In the end of this year Highway Records label, successfully run by Mike Spirit, well-known all over the boundless Russian territory, celebrates a serious anniversary — 5th birthday of the label! Artist of the label JCB made a search in the back catalogue of the imprint to choose the brightest compositions from it and make an exclusive mix for DJ Mag Russia. It consists of eleven best tracks and remixes, created since the beginning of Highway Records. Tracks and remixes by such artists as S.K.A.M., Agraba, Asaga, JCB, Spieltape, Cucumbers, Sergey Sanchez & Thierry Tomas, BarBQ, Dave Pad, Tantsui and Gorje Hewek & Izhevski, as well as ones of the famous European musicians like Den Ishu, Karol XVII & MB Valence, Hector, Martin Dawson and Adriatique.

Classic 91 are back with another release ‘Price Of Life’ EP produced by Avgustin, it’s an elegant Dub affair which has a fresh sound.

The release includes two original tracks,Price Of Life, Trouble In Paradise. And Two remixes by Petar Cvetkovic, Rhythm Box.

The originals tracks that stand out for their minimalist surround sound with an atomic finish. The sweeping effects and synth effects then kick in accompanied by that signature high-hat that just make this track whole and a constant production.

Petar Cvetkovic remix launches into an array of dub style bass, kick drums and high-hats in one foul swoop, with the trippy vocals.

It builds into more of a Techno affair than the other tracks, but a perfect pump way to complete the release. Rhythm Box remix starts with a minimal iridescent build up, with both the bass and kick drums falling into a straighter pattern which are backed by further dusty percussion, is other pump for the dance floor.
