The Lonely Shepherd

The composition was inspired by the poem "Crossing the Water" by the American poet Sylvia Plath (1932-1963).

Crossing the Water

Black lake, black boat, two black, cut-paper people.
Where do the black trees go that drink here?
Their shadows must cover Canada.

A little light is filtering from the water flowers.
Their leaves do not wish us to hurry:
They are round and flat and full of dark advice.

Cold worlds shake from the oar.
The spirit of blackness is in us, it is in the fishes.
A snag is lifting a valedictory, pale hand;

Stars open among the lilies.
Are you not blinded by such expressionless sirens?
This is the silence of astounded souls.

Theme exclusively made with native Music Studio 2 instruments.

Composed during the year 2015 in my walks in this monument of my city.

 It is the oldest palace in use in Europe with 1,000 years old in its oldest part, and it is full of history that you can feel.

I wanted to capture the beauty and grandeur of the site where Game of Thrones was filmed (In the series it is the Palace of Dorne).

In this and final revision, the wind instruments have been further enhanced in certain phases to further mark the melody.

It is one of those places that say you have to see before you die.

symphony of stars has seen a bit of light past week since DDHA Qabra, made a mix with the work of Nigel Weeks (Art meets Electronica; letter to Areciba).

It was a strange week: it seemed to be impossible to post comment on my track Symphony of stars.

Than suddenly came messages that weren't correct.

Finally after moving heaven and earth, Nigel Weeks, after inventing a new language, slicing textes in pieces,... he succeeded.

Coïncindence or not? He was erased in my both lists followers and followed, without i did a thing.

We were a bit out of ballance of all this things. So i decided to make this one.
