It's beautiful, it's sweet. The orchestration is sober, successful and nevertheless shows great research in sound. It encourages meditation and calm. Beautiful emotion listening to this musical moment. Good work !

Solstice

Hi all
Been doing a lot of recording lately, and now Im starting work on my home upright.

Did some trials with mics etc, and I think Im happy with the sound now. Needs maybe some more warmth, and there are of course room sounds.

Hopefully I will start soon recording all my piano pieces like this for online streaming. 

At least, it should work for my tv projects.

Snowfall In Spring (New Recording)

Stillness isn't absence, it's memory frozen in motion, a spiral suspended in velvety air. Echoes return with form and warmth, transforming silence into presence. Dreams leave residue in reverse, and names become breath, refracted. Somewhere between static and radiance, emotion is reproduced not to be understood, but to be felt again, ever softer.

My first piece composed for Piano Day 2020 had some string elements; I wanted to do one that was just the piano. The piano in this composition is the 1911 Bechstein piano from @arpquadra (Andrew Ward); lovely piano!
