This piano work aims to reflect the sensations and emotions experienced on a short trip to Lisbon. The narrow and steep streets, trams, viewpoints and bridges of this city inspired me to create this piece of music.

Flute. Oboe, Bb Clarinet, Bass Clarinet, Bassoon, Horn in F, Trumpet in C, and Strings

Performance notes:
• Tempo, expression, and dynamic markings should be strictly observed.
• There is no key signature. Accidentals apply to the end of the measure or to the note or notes tied over the measure, and only to notes of the same pitch class, in the same octave.
• Hairpin pairs (e.g.: mp <>, mf ><) indicate a temporary volume change of one dynamic level.

Please check the video links below, i would like to know your thoughts especially on the science facts, my conclusion is we are all ancient star people somehow trapped and enslaved with lost untold and repressed powers, which i somehow new deep down and have personally always had a strong calling to the stars and the resonance of sound or music, which is what we all collectively feel and is more than likey why we are all obsessed with music as a species soaking up those vibrating magnetic frequencies and somehow still making connections with ancient repressed abilities! "Smile" is a song based on an instrumental theme used in the soundtrack for Charlie Chaplin's 1936 movie Modern Times. Chaplin composed the music, inspired by Puccini's Tosca.[1] John Turner and Geoffrey Parsons added the lyrics and title in 1954.[2] In the lyrics, based on lines and themes from the film, the singer is telling the listener to cheer up and that there is always a bright tomorrow, just as long as they smile. "Smile" has become a popular standard since its original use in Chaplin's film.

Sometimes you feel like you belong to another place. A remote place in which you find out positive emotions and marvelous people; maybe an interesting and surprising person. I think about the Mediterranean while writing these words. An island is capable of enclosing all this meaning, a little spot full of dreams and strong vibes.

This piece has been composed during the confinement experienced in Spain due to the COVID-19 virus pandemic.
