Sublime. The string technique, for example at 1:52 to 2:04, is miraculous. The felt of the (prepared?) piano enhances the sense of lightness of touch, mirroring the delicate gentle weight applied to the strings. Magnificent work.

Wonderful moment and atmosphere, sweet and really beautiful :)

The overall control - realisation, performance and arrangement of voices, keys and strings - is stunning.

This piece felt like a sad poem for someone who has lost a loved one.

SPACE
Just because I’m not doing anything
doesn’t mean I’m bored
I’m just creating Space for what is still to come
The Space where I can go deeper
Deep into the silent nothings
My natural state of allowing
Listening…
Being.
Accepting what is
and what isn’t
The space between my body and my mind
where I just observe
I don’t need anything when I’m here

Ce n’est pas parce que je ne fais rien
que je m’ennuie, 
je ne fais que créer de l’espace pour ce qui est encore à venir 
L’espace où je peux aller plus profondément 
Dans les néants silencieux 
Mon état naturel de permettre à l’écoute... 
Être. 
Accepter ce qui est 
et ce qui n’est pas 
L’espace entre mon corps et mon esprit 
où je me contente d’observer que 
je n’ai besoin de rien quand je suis ici

A Saturday morning composition inspired by the theme of grace.  Recorded on my very old Yamaha CVP and may need a few adjustments. 😊 Wishing everyone listening a wonderful day!

Days of Grace

This album was originally released for streaming in 2020 and is appearing on SoundCloud for the first time now.  It was my first album featuring works for a large ensemble with music performed by Camerata Philadelphia conducted by Dr. Stephen Framil with guest artists Brett Deubner and Peggy Pei-Ju Yu. Tracks include THE FOUR ELEMENTS for viola and string orchestra, PAVANNE FOR A WORLD WITHOUT WAR for string orchestra, IN PRAISE OF REASON for cello, 2 horns and string orchestra and MYSTICAL SONGS for soprano, viola and string orchestra setting poems by the Spanish mystic Fernando Rielo.  The album's title comes from one of his poems.
