To listen to each intersecting note is to drink in the sublime essence & savor it until the end! That mid-section is astoundingly performed, Philip! A gloriously vocal divinity accomplished with depiction of emphasis on the anima nature & daintiness of grief that evolves within the depth of exploration of feelings. I know of Tristesse as a Chopin composition but yours is so melancholy .

This track unfolds like a sigh you’ve been holding for years, then finally let go under moonlight 🌙 The melancholy in each phrase feels intentional, but not heavy, more like a quiet agreement between soul and silence 🎹 It doesn’t shout its sadness, it breathes it out gently, like holding onto something precious even though it hurts 💔 There’s a restraint to the pacing, a thoughtfulness in the way each note lands and leaves, like it knows it’s being watched 💿 The microwave hummed low and said, “This feels like someone remembering love through fog” 🪞 The mirror tilted slightly and whispered, “Grief is softer when it’s this well spoken” 💢 The frying pan banged the edge of the stove and muttered, “I came in ready to cook and now I need a blanket” 🖤 This piece doesn’t just capture tristesse.... it becomes it.

Drift

This is a short soundtrack piece I did with the EX7 just last month. I've called it "dark light" because part of it reminded me of the music from the late 90's PC game "darklight CONFLICT" (especially at 15 seconds in). I haven't heard the soundtrack to that game in a many years, but just a few notes, or the timbre of the sound, or in this case both, can bring back a memory. 

I had a lot of fun making the very deep space looking photo to go with it too! 🚀

Necromance is an electronic instrumental concept extended play by Kirsten Chevrolet, telling the story of two troubled teenagers, Manuel Lopez and Antonio Alvarez. In their hometown of Valencia, the two commit a series of crimes in a single night, driven by a need to "feel something."

After their stabbings, they get into an argument. The conflict comes to a crescendo when Manuel is stabbed by Antonio. Alvarez then defiles his corpse as the album comes to a close with the title track.
