Classical Mix #033-Dis Fig

For our 32nd Generic Mix we’ve been treated by San Francisco based artist and filmmaker Lara Sarkissian to an extra special mix transversing some bold and beautiful sounds. 

Lara’s been one of the most exciting DJs on our radar for quite some time and has recently done mixes on radio for NTS and Club Chai with some more exciting radio appearances coming up very soon. 

It’s hard to predict what a Foozool mix is going to sound like before hearing it as she completely eschews the template of what a DJ should sound like: switching up repetitive four to the floor rhythms coming from the established centres of dance music for a far more diverse selection of tracks from across the world and the internet. Instead of telling you what to expect from this one it’s best if you press play, close your eyes and keep your eyes, ears and hearts open.
