SODAA Club is a community developing a decentralised governance model for a music & arts venue in London.

Their first release explores the foundations of their own sound - with members and friends of their commmunity, the 31-track compilation is "genreless and fluid, self-organised and bottom-up."

Inspired by the decentralised release of Alkisah by Senyawa, any label sharing similar values could release their own version : "the artists and the labels participating in this compilation believe in a more equitable and collaborative future for our scenes, one guided by principles of solidarity economy, distributed decision-making, and the rejection of capitalist notions of culture, music and space."

It's a truly Latin American affair as Chilean producer Rasgar meets with Uruguayan artist ojosfinos on a thumping track called 'Mapas', a taste of the upcoming 'Intersticios' EP which is set to come out on a Colombian label Artificio. The release - that will otherwise feature further Latin American talents: Rachiid Paralyzing, Brainscan and Alfacenttauri - focuses on the experimental electronic music soundscapes based on diverse genres like techno, glitch, ambient, noise or even funk carioca, all imagined by multi-talented Rasgar whose experience of not only being a DJ/producer but also curating a sound art festival and creating audio installations for musuems resulted in this ambitious EP.

For the fifteenth edition of Functions Of The Now we're extremely pleased to present a long time Truants favourite: E.M.M.A. Although E.M.M.A’s release schedule has slowed since her debut album Blue Gardens landed, her Functions Of The Now mix hints at the wealth of dubplates waiting to be unleashed, including the exquisitely titled Magna Kanye. Elsewhere, E.M.M.A finds common ground with producers on the dreamier end of grime: rising star Iglew, Gobstopper Records label head Mr Mitch and Coyote Records affiliate Tom E.
